many players ditch the party at the T3 Terminal. Reason: Looking for boss recipes to sell or finding recipes for themselves

Put a Basil Merchant at d29/the Core but instead of having a mixed inventory of Four-Star Recipes and Five-Star Recipes, make him have only Five-Star Recipes. Why?

To encourage players to get to d29. As of right now, Basil just trolls us having a majority of Four-Star recipes and only 3 or less Five Star Recipes. If you give d29 Basil, an inventory stocked with 5* recipes, I guarantee that most players will do their best to reach the core.

I still think the core should be a prize room like it used to be.

I actually heard of that. Was that true?
You got more loot and a Congrats from a Gremlin?

Yep.

In addition, there was a place to deposit minerals to "open the core" even though OOO said it was a fake. People deposited thousands of minerals.

Don't ask me why the Gremlin didn't try to stab you in the face.

I make you black, bluue and red all over

I would support this if there were more 5* recipes, preferably boss recipes. That way there would be a reason to do this, as most of the recipes from basil are in HoH anyway.

Now, I usually just buy boss recipes from the auction house unless they are over 20,000 crowns more than they would have been. But I already take so many runs that I reach the core more times than Vaelyn can remember. Adding Basil down in those depths would definitely help me get what recipes I need for cheaper prices. As well as guarantee that I will have a good recipe to sell over the auction house at the end of it all.

@Bamzalot: You overpay 3 times...

Actually, players descend to the core and in fact they get nothing for surviving in stratum 5 and 6.

At the very least a treasure box or something would be nice. I don't like how parties tend to diminish at the last Clockwork Terminal.

It's also rather disappointing to get to the core for the first time and get nothing but a, "Good job. You should play more" (AKA "please continue to collect minerals and research the Clockworks").

Yep.

I mean really, why didn't the Gremlin stab you in the face?!

Back on topic. A few Treasure Boxes like:

Vaelyn: We've uncovered a few treasures. We were going to open them, but I think that you deserve them.

You: Thank you, Lieutenant.

Geologist: I wanted dat lootz.

This would make radiant fire crystals a bit less rare. If only that was what OOO wanted.

I second both a Basil and

I second both a Basil and some treasure boxes.
Currently too many players stop playing after stratum 5, unless when stratum 6 is vana.

Meh.

I have not even reached T3 clearance yet. But this would not have any negative effect on the game. So +1

Also, about when this was a prize room: The gremlin was a mender, he had no way of attacking you.

menders could bash you with their wand like there was no tomorrow. like really, knights with full health died for that.
+1 to the OP.

I know, right?

Or he could have been all wave wand and hurl a magic blast at you like KAZAM! After all, knights with the wand can do that.

Or he could be a friendly gremlin.

I agree that the core needs a treasure room, maybe the old core token could be added back.

About that basil change:
Add one before the end of tier 1/2/3.

Add one before the end of tier 1/2/3.

Can't say I'd agree on a D8 and/or D18 Basil if that's what you're going for.

But +1 to the D29 Basil. SOMETHING should go there besides Vaelyn/a useless Module.

Thank You for the support guys

There's no good feeling of reaching d29. Its plainly, "Yay! You did all this just to go back up again! have fun! /s"

And some players forget that the Radiants are in the last stratum.

treasure vault sounds nice. Although this is coming from a knight elite. So don't put any weight into my opinion.
