Ok ok ok so here I totally just noticed this-

Of the people buying the iron sets we have:
Steam People: Capable of buying the iron sets n times, where n is the number of steam accounts they operate
Non-Steam People: They don't use steam and will not be able to purchase the item.

But there's a catch! Most steam people can ONLY buy the items a limited number of times... and statistically, Spiral Knights is a small community, right? So there will be a large number of items that no one wants on the steam market, and a small number of Sk merchants buying them and then they can't buy them because they can only buy one or two for them and their alts.

Therefore, the number of iron costumes in game should be proportional to the number of steam users in game, and thus, the price of an iron costume should be different in game than on steam.

Because the set will be nearly free- not the wolver tails/wings, mind you- the pricing will be about the same as the number of demanding non-steam users over the number of selling steam users. Except for on steam, where they will be about free.

Right?

This thread made me realize

This thread made me realize that it is an account-activated gift, so a limited amount of times correct? And not available in some countries.
