Every time I Open my Spiral Knights on my desktop, it will say Windows Firewall or Norton Internet Security was instructed to block javaw.exe even after I enabled it and I don't have Norton Internet Security.
It takes 13 days for it to update. After I uninstall and reinstall, it will either say on the updater that Address family protocol failed: connect (forgot how it goes, sorry) or in the game it will be stuck on 97% downloading the rest.
So far, I have been playing on my laptop which lags and I die easily.
Also, with spiral knights being 600 MB or so, I update it on my laptop and move it to my desktop and takes a long time.
That means your firewall/anti-virus is being a thorn in your butt by blocking your game from the internet. That's why the downloader will stop at 97%, or etc.
Are you sure you don't have Norton Internet Security? How does it pop up then? Please enable it on Norton Internet Security. If you still have troubles, please set the firewall level to minimum while downloading.
