The codes?
In 2011, SEGA had a Pax event, and I think the attenders earned a code to get a free Bombhead mask that looked awesome.
They also had free codes for parrying blades, occasionally posted some on Twitter for wings and the like. Also, I think it's the way to redeem party packs.
