I never knew that they kill other mobs for you! The thing is, I only have a proto shield (yeah...) and my teammates...well, aren't that smart. But thanks!
Run to corner, shield, and kill the non charged quicksilvers that come close. Shielding in a corner minimizes the chance that you will get hit when they bounce around.
Otherwise, they kill themselves and all the other mobs for you.
