So, i'm been a vanguard for a tad while, got all my stuff ready, every things placed for my snarly coat and helm. Now the issue is i'm having trouble finding a party. And advice on how to tackle this problem? I'm having trouble finding people that can do a shadow lair.

Thanks,
Harbinger

PS: I did do a search, I didn't really find any answers to this specific question.

There's no easy solution.

It's the same problem for new players looking for help to get through their rank missions.

Some players ask in trade chat (join /2); others join large guilds.

By the way, the shadow key to play one of the shadow lair missions cost 1800 energy, so be prepared to pay your fair share.

You also might want to have an appropriate level 4 helm or armor at level 10 so you can craft something in Sanctuary.

As I said

I already have my appropriate helm and coat set for the snarly coat, it's all ready. And i'm ready to pay the fair share of 450ce. Issue is I can find NOBODY.

advice

Whenever I've done Shadow Lairs, I've been in a party of four, and each member has paid his fair share. But some players don't like that system; they expect the Shadow Key owner to treat everyone else for free. I don't understand why. Just be aware that some players have weird expectations.

Shadow Keys are expensive enough, and Shadow Lairs are hard enough, that you want to go with people whom you know and trust. I mean, you want to know that they are skilled, have decent connections to the servers, have appropriate equipment for the Shadow Lair in question, have Sparks of Life to revive themselves, won't leave the party halfway through because they have to eat dinner, won't refuse to pay their share of the key cost, etc.

So try to do the Shadow Lair with friends or guildies, if you can. Otherwise, try to find one friend or guildie, and use his friends and guildies to fill out the rest of your party. As others have said, you can also ask in General Discussion, in zone chat, or just in Haven. But be careful about the people you pick up. Good luck and enjoy!

Another reason is profitability, the Snarby SL doesn't make enough to cover the key cost, even if you can sell the material on the AH, so many veterans don't bother to do it after making their armor.

It was actually the last SL I did because of this.

If anything is possible, is it possible something is impossible?

So you couldn't find anybody huh?
