Tortomega

Just something that's been on my mind: has anyone ever seen a Tortomega? I suspect it's a Construct-class enemy similar to the Tortodrone -- please not the difference in the names, the enemies are not the same as far as I've seen -- but I'm not sure if it's even implemented in the game yet.

I think part of the reason one hasn't been seen is because we've never had any "Jigsaw Valley: Emerald Axis" stages below the first Clockwork Terminal of Tier 3. It's just something I've been thinking about, go ahead if you want to test.

Or I could be stupid and the Tortodrone and Tortomega are in fact the same enemy, just with names lost in translation somewhere along the line (though I doubt this is the case)...

I've seen and killed plenty

I've seen and killed plenty of Tortodrone's below Emberlight. No Tortomega's so far, unless they look the same.

Is there something in the files called Tortomega? I've never heard of it.

Certainly.

I saw the name in the description of the "Omega Shell" shield. You know, the purple one that you need a Stone Tortoise and Rock Salt to make?

Isn't that the big brown one

Isn't that the big brown one that used to be called the Behemoth?

Or am I thinking of something else entirely?

Given that that shield drops

Given that that shield drops from standard variety Tortodrones (mine did), I'm going to guess that it's a naming confusion in the descriptions.

@Fnord

If you are talking about stone tortoise then that's normal, the 5* line that shield has the word mega in it.

That's what I was thinking.

I've heard of people getting Omega Shells from Tortodrones and not Tortomegas, that's why I wasn't sure. I wish I had known about the "Behemoth" beforehand though, my computer was a piece of junk that wouldn't run Spiral Knights in the first release back then.

Is it possible we could get a developer to confirm whether these creatures are the same thing or not?
