Why are you on SK or the forums? Please shut down your computer and go spend time with your friends and family, give presents, open presents, drink egg nog, and don't get on until tomorrow.

Before you use the "irony/hypocrisy" weapon, yes, I see it. I snuck here during a commercial in a movie while we were all getting snacks and stuff.

will graveyard in approximately 24 hours

EDIT: Ah frig it I'm tired of waiting.

To add on...

Some of us don't celebrate Christmas. Some of us are too cheap to give presents. Some of us are allergic to eggs. Some of us don't watch movies

Hrm...

Today is the 25th. Festivus was on the 23rd. Why should I not be here today?

How much crap can people tolerate on Christmas? Watch the same movie you've seen every Christmas for years, open presents and pretend to be happy about that shirt, and have a big meal. How can that take more than a few hours? I do enjoy the holiday, but the notion many people have that the world must stop on Christmas to celebrate is a bit ridiculous to me.

SK isn't even going out all hardcore. MapleStory had a triple XP event which I bet caused a lot of people to spend two hours alone spamming the X key, and there will literally dozens of complaints on the WoW forums this morning about people whom couldn't get their presents yet because there were hundreds of people on every server blocking the NPC which handed them out. Steam also has a bunch of 8-hour sales, so people gotta spend their Christmas money, y'know.

Yup, I'm from Asia. Very few people celebrate Christmas here.

Mooo!

Some families celebrate Christmas online as they are far away from on another, and what better way to celebrate online than to play spiral knights with loved ones from afar :')

Also, doesn't this belong more in the Gremlin Chatter? I can easily see this going off-topic onto Christmas itself instead of its relations to SK.

The reason why I'm here still is because I don't celebrate Christmas :)

Yay!

And Tweeter, living under a rock is not beneficial to your health. You should probabpy step out sometime and discover other cities, states, countries, &nd continents outside of wherever you live (presumably america). Give it a shot.

And for the record, I am American as well. Enlighten yourself about people other than yourself and you might gain a little respect from these kind forumers.

And also, for another record, christmas meal only took 36 minutes.

Some of us were waiting for the Steam store to come back to life since some of us wanted to download L4D2... Soo... We played SK until it came back. Or we were waiting for our other games to download that we got as gifts in Steam. c:

I don't need some "communally specified day" to tell me to spend time with my family, because I do so at other times of the year.

Well sure my family is close and all

But after the presents have all been opened, there's really nothing we do other than tell stories and eat. Being a person who can only withstand so much small talk, after a few hours I'll just wander away and recharge. My entire family has viral bronchitis right now though, so maybe that's part of it. In order to get well, we can't exactly be breathing in each others' faces.
