Before any of you pretend officers move in here and claim this belongs to the PvP or Arsenal topic, I must state this is not a PvP or Arsenal thread.

So I was just doing Lockdown. Normal and stuff. After playing for a few hours, I got bored, like really bored. Then I started using a Blitz and a Grinvotec for fun. (Did I spell dat right? XP) So I was using the Grinvotec in LD, (It's the 3 star freeze troika line thingey) and I was very surprised at its mechanics. The weapon itself can do an amazing range, yet slower. I have calculated that it reaches almost 1.5 times further than a GF or a DA. However, it is slower. So I was just trolling around and getting myself killed when I used my three star and killed three people in Tier 3 LD with it in the map Forest. The first kill, was, believe it or not, using the Grinvotec charge. There is a single smash that is most likely going to miss, then a high explosion follows. That high explosion rid that tier 3 guy of all his health, top to bottom. The second death I caused was when I attacked 2 at a time and I killed one of them. I found out you can do a wider swing than any of the DA or the GF weapons. The third death I caused was the charge attack again, and I found out the Grinvotec explosion can hit backwards. So I was thinking, if the Grinvotec three stars was this OP in tier 3 LD, if you put some ASI on it, can it actually replace the GF and the DA clones in LD?

2nd weapon: Polaris. Okay I know. There are too many topics on this. Too many complaints. But I must express the OP-ness of it. So I was in this LD game and the whole other team were gunners. And out team all had Polaris-es too, except for me. Everybody used Polaris only. You can't get closer to attack, you can't get closer to kill. But the worst part is, the lag. Now, I really don't have a magnificent gaming laptop like the rest of you, but the lag it causes is deadly. Since their team of 8 used Polaris, and our team of 7 (minus me) used Polaris, you can literally guess what the lag is. -_- The point is: I have no idea how to express this....

I'm expecting lots of hate replies....but....

Now I could ask myself just why you would do that, but if I'm honest the answer 's right there.

None. I've never lagged with polaris spam. If its too much for you, lower your graphics settings. You could even change this during the match. The only weapon lag that sometimes gets me is 4-person DR spamming in arenas (which I think might be server side because there is just too much low damage hitting everything).

That conclusion sentence of that paragraph proves that this thread is about Lockdown... thus belonging in The Coliseum. You said it's not a PvP thread, but I must be failing to see why, as you are constantly talking about using certain weapons in Lockdown.

Yeah, um

I agree with Hollows here - this is still a lockdown thread, and should be in the coliseum.

And the reason why people use the sealed sword line is because it deals split damage which is elevated to massive damage with the damage increasing armor they're bound to wear, and will usually pierce through player armor.

People use pulsar variants because it takes little aim, has great knockback, and the enemy might get shocked if they chose the polaris route. If they don't lag, they won't care if you lag - it's their advantage. That's the sad truth of the matter when you pit players against each other in nearly any competitive environment.

Yes indeed! It's a little known fact but Grintovec has a base damage of over 9000 in T3 LD so use that instead of Triglav.

You know that the sealed sword line and the troika line have EXACTLY THE SAME RANGE, while doing MORE damage to NEUTRAL targets, not to mention the Gran Faust's CURSE.

Pretty dang sure Troikas have more range than Sealed Swords. They appear bigger, at least.

Just tested in GH training. First swing DA and Suda have the same range (both in distance and facing angle).
