Hey, is it possible that the Technical FAQs are updated with PROPER WORKING solutions. Since it's been so long, many different methods and solutions for different issues are proven to be effective, and some of the solutions listed on the Technical Issues FAQs page are obsolete or ineffective in solving anything. Here's my take.
Does your computer meet the minimum requirements to run Spiral Knights?
How do I figure out the hardware information for my computer?
What if my computer system barely meets the minimum requirements?
What if my computer system doesn't meet the minimum requirements?
How do I know if I am running the latest Java release?
My keyboard input isn't being recognized when playing the game on Linux, what should I do?
These sections have no issues.
I upgraded to Windows 8, why isn't Spiral Knights starting anymore?
How do I know if my video card is running the latest video drivers?
What other issues should I check?
I'm unsure, someone more experienced should deal with this.

Solutions leading to "reinstallation" of the game needs to be updated.
Reason : The main game data files (containing all the models, scripts etc.) are in no way affected during installation/uninstallation, the main thing that is being extracted during installation is the java application. People experiencing corrupted game files, in-game errors, game crashes will be able to solve their problems using this solution.
Solution :
(FOR WINDOWS USERS ONLY)
Having Black Screen issues? Wrong/Weird Images? Or crashes when entering specific areas? See any game errors?
Diagnosis : Corrupted File(s)
Solution : Redownload and Reinstall the WHOLE OF SPIRAL KNIGHTS
FOR STEAM USERS
- Proceed to Spiral Knights Folder, usually located in C:/Program_Files(x86)/Steam/steamapps/common/Spiral_Knights/
- Delete this entire folder. The problem is not with the installation, but with the fact that you have corrupted DATA FILES. These data files come to you during downloading, and do not get affected by installation/uninstallation.
- REDOWNLOAD and REINSTALL the game through the steam store page. Try to ensure smooth and stable download speed, don't go and stream some video, take a break, it's not that long.
- If problem persists, contact SK support for further inquiries
FOR NON-STEAM USERS
- Proceed to Spiral Knights Folder. This is possible by starting the "Run" program located in your start menu. Afterwards, key in "%appdata%" to get to the /"User"/Appdata/Roaming / folder. Proceed to /"User"/Appdata/ and access the "LocalLow" folder. There will be a folder called "spiral".
- Delete this entire folder. The problem is not with the installation, but with the fact that you have corrupted DATA FILES. These data files come to you during downloading, and do not get affected by installation/uninstallation.
- REDOWNLOAD and REINSTALL the game through the official client page(This website/armorgames/newgrounds, wherever you downloaded it from). Try to ensure smooth and stable download speed, don't go and stream some video, take a break, it's not that long.
- If problem persists, contact SK support for further inquiries
I request anyone who knows how to deal with this on the Mac OS to list the methods too.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Game Launcher shows progress bar frozen at 'x%', especially during validating
Reason : The main, and most probable reason is due to this line from the launcher logs : "2013/12/27 23:37:14:245 WARNING r.a: launch() failed.
java.io.IOException: Cannot run program ".\java_vm\bin\java.exe" (in directory "."): CreateProcess error=740, The requested operation requires elevation" Java.exe is not given the permission to launch, therefore elevation is required for the application. Some computers are defaulted to unallow permissions for new applications. Reinstalling java/Spiral Knights will not work.
Solution : (Windows Only)(MUST BE ADMIN FOR IT TO WORK)Try launching Spiral Knights with administrator privileges. Right click Spiral Knights and click on 'Run as administrator' (Unsure if this works).
Otherwise, go to the Spiral Knights folder located at C:/Program_Files(x86)/Steam/steamapps/common/Spiral_Knights/java_vm/bin or C:/"User"/Appdata/LocalLow/spiral/java_vm/bin (accessible via opening "run" and typing "%appdata%"), right click on java.exe, go to Properties, and clicking the security tab. Press the edit permissions button, and allow the system/users/admins the full control.
Yet again, request for someone with experience with the Mac OS to provide methods, though iirc, Mac OS users don't have an issue.

If there are any common errors that do not have a current effective solution to it, please state it.
That wiki page is protected. We can view the source, but we can't edit it.
You could edit the talk page to ask the GMs to make improvements? (In my experience this doesn't have much effect.) You could set up your own parallel system of technical documents that isn't protected?
(I'm not commenting on the merit of your idea one way or the other. I don't know most of this troubleshooting stuff.)
