Help. Im a serious t2 lockdown player and im pretty ok with 1v1 fkourishes but anyways, today i was playing and i kept dying from hamhur and kilowatt. My only armor is dusker set with pierce high and max but no elementl uv or loadout. I usually use SS with SF. I also own an kilowatt but i never use it cuz im actually really bad at being noob. I also dont have hamhur or any alchemer or antigua, and a nightblade asi med is in the heating process. Do you think i ahould craft magic set? And also what tactics should use against those weapons? Thanks.

ps I know that hammers arent very OP in t3, but in t2 they are. Is this just cuz in t3 there is elemental defense or is it cuz t3 swords have longer reach, or...

Probably the reach

Probably the reach factor.

With a flourish, you shouldnt have aroblem honeztly. And with an asi mediumflourish, as striker, getting a few hits in shouldnt be a problem.

And pulsars....super easy to dodge.

Anyways, practice more and you'll get the hang of it.

Yeah

Huh im terrible at dodging pulsar bullets. Also i have asi med uv on my SF. But dyk anything about fighting hammerers? Not the stupid ones who use second swing but the ones who keep spamming the swing, dash, and maybe also switch to SF or SS.

Hmmm...the skilled hammer

Hmmm...the skilled hammer users are annoying, especially with asi VH *coughREVANScough*. In T3 that is.

But same concepts. To couter it, you need speed. Flourishes work perfectly. You need to fake the hammerhead out. Dash in one direction, then make a U shape and come back up and swipe. It should work quite well. Works for me with A silent nightblade (no t) against most hammer users. You are basically leading them into youre desired position, and if correctly predicted their end position, get a few taps in. I have heard that they lose invincibility frames during dash, so they are open to slaughtering.

Well first of all ya gotta understand... The Stable Rocket Hammer in Tier 2 Lockdown just plain overpowered. It's okay if you die to a Hammer multiple times there, the thing has absurd range and power overall. Just make sure you don't beat yourself up over it. The only thing that can perfectly counter a Hammer in Tier 2 Lockdown would be another Hammer. But you don't have one right? So it looks like you'll have to improvise... I'll give you some quick pointers about what you can do to counter Hammers with your current gear and play style.

When you encounter a Hammer user in Tier 2 Lockdown you'll immediately want to analyze how they're using it. Are they only using Hammer? Are they switch canceling with Hammer? Are they dashing a lot with the Hammer? Are they only using the first swing of the Hammer? Now you'll want to take what you analyzed and find out ways to counter. Here are those pointers I was telling ya about earlier. I'm not going to tell you exactly what I do because that's my play style. You may have a completely different play style compared to mine. So I'll just give you some things to build off of and include your own little touch into.

• Realize that you have an SS.

Wow this thing is useful versus Hammer users. You can run around like a mad man spamming the first swing on 'em or maybe you can just sit back with the thing and let them dash straight into a combo that you decided to set up.

• You can use Auto Target combos.

Whenever a Hammer user dashes, they have no invinci frames at all. You can whip out your Swift Flourish or Nightblade and go to town as soon as they dash your direction and take no damage whatsoever while doing it.

• You can use your Striker Boost.

If you dash with your Striker Boost right into their dash you won't take any damage. Similar to the Auto Target combo tactic, but you don't deal damage.

• Stun lock them!

Useful versus anything and everything just as long as ya know how.

@Pawsmack

You say they get no invinciframes. Dare I ask what happens if two dashes collide?

@Krakob

One of the Hammer users feels pain at its finest. Not gonna get into depth though. Too many factors.

@Erctheepic

An invincibility frame is a period of time (measured in frames) when a player cannot take damage.
