I am terrible at drawing stuff, so I'll describe how these new item concepts work. And maybe the aesthetics later. Some draw off old lines, some grow from old lines, and some are brand spanking new.

General Use Items

Spiral Plate Set -> Absorption Set -> Super Absorption Set -> Phalanx Set

Protects against all damage types. 3* protects about the same amount as Vitasuit Plus, 4* protects about the same amount as Spiral Plate, and 5* protects about the same amount as Boosted Plate. All stats get equal protection.

Magic Set -> Elementbreaker Set -> Arcanebreaker Set -> Statusbreaker Set

Protects against all status conditions. 3* protects exactly 1 bars of fire, freeze, shock, and poison with 2.5 bars normal and 2.8 bars ele, 4* protects 1.2 bars against fire, freeze, shock, and poison with 4.5 bars normal and 5.75 bars ele, and 5* protects 1.7 bars against fire, freeze, shock, poison, and curse, is weak 1.3 bars against sleep, and protects 0.7 bars against stun, with 5.75 bars normal and 6.9 bars ele and Health Bonus +5 in place of +4, and +6 in place of +5.

Antigua -> Smasher -> Great Falcon

A normal gun that works like an antigua. Smasher has no damage bonuses; Falcon has low damage bonuses on Fiends, Slimes, and Constructs.

Entropy Bomb -> Fiery Vaporizer Mk II -> blahblahblah
Entropy Bomb -> Freezing Vaporizer Mk II -> blahblahblah
2* Entropy Bomb -> Temperature Shifter -> Cold Heat -> Disequilibrium

We all know how the first two lines go, and if you don't, look it up on the wiki. This is a new line from a 2* bomb, the Entropy Bomb. It is a Freezing Vaporizer that changes into a Fiery Vaporizer every 10 seconds. This should be reflected by a graphical change. If it is put down, it may not change.

2* Hook Gun -> Clinger -> Shredder -> Agony

Another new weapon. You must have a material "Hook" to use this gun. Hook Gun is normal, but the rest of the line is piercing. The line has 1-shot reload normal attack. It clings onto the first enemy in the line, doing (1.25 bars for 2*, 1.4 bars for 3*, 3 bars for 4*, 3.5 bars for 5*) worth of damage to the enemy.

If you don't charge, it does that same damage again.

If you charge and let go prematurely, it will inflict (minor for 2*, moderate for 3 and 4*, strong for 5*) stun to the enem(y/ies) afflicted, and do (0.5 bars for 2*, 0.75 bars for 3*, 2.5 bars for 4*, 3.2 bars for 5*) worth of damage.

If you charge fully, it inflicts (moderate for 2 and 3*, strong for 4 and 5*) stun to the enemy and a (slight for 2* and 3*, fair for 4* and 5*) chance to inflict (1 bar for 2*, 1.2 bars for 3*, 2.9 bars for 4*, 3.5 bars for 5*) worth of additional damage to (1.25 bars for 2*, 1.4 bars for 3*, 3 bars for 4*, 3.5 bars for 5*) worth of damage, as well as causing a trap in the exact area of any enem(y/ies) afflicted that in 1 second of the charge attack being executed will tangle any enem(y/ies) with part of their hitbox on the trap for 12 seconds. When charging, you have a 10% chance to inflict "Wounded" status on an(y) enem(y/ies) afflicted by the attack which causes Damage Over Time equal to what Fire ticks would be on that same target (if it were not immune to fire) plus an amount equal to (5^tier-tier^(star of the weapon-2)/star of the weapon and lose your Hook. The enemy with the hook will have a light shaded hook on top of it. When you hit it, the hook has a 5% chance to fall off and land on an adjacent enemy (within a circle with the target as the center and a radius of 2 tiles), or if no enemies are in the aforementioned circle, fall on the ground as a material "drop". When you kill it, the hook will land on an enemy within a circle with the target midway between the center and the edge and a radius of 4 tiles, or on the ground.

If you move while charging, you inflict Wounded status on any enemies inflicted by the attack, a number of bars worth of damage equal to 2 x (star-star^(floor(star/4 + 0.25)-|floor(star ^ (floor(curt(tier x star))) - 2 x star)|)) + 0.2 x (tier/3) will be inflicted on the opponent, and you lose your Hook.

Not even sure what these formulas work out to. Agony can cling to several enemies at once. When clung onto, enemies may not move.

3* Hard Hat -> Stopper -> Indestructible Hat

The Hat is also based on tricky formulas just like a part of the Hook Gun. Its protection is not signifiable via bars. Instead, it is a formula based on tier and star level.

Formulas: Damage inflicted to you=floor(damage that should be inflicted (also known as D) + 5 - protection^|sqrtceiling(|tier/star^2-starx4-3|)-0.5|)

ProtectionAgainstNormal=|floor(3D/10+star^tier-(ceilingProtectionAgainstNormal^star/ProtectionAgainstNormal^(star-0.01)))|

ProtectionAgainstPiercing=-1000+(3xceiling(star/tier)/2+floor(star/tier)/2)/(star-tier+1))+star^(tier+star-4)

ProtectionAgainstElemental=ProtectionAgainstNormal/2+ProtectionAgainstPiercing/3+ProtectionAgainstShadow/5 +7/sqrt(11+star)^2-tier^star (Max=100, Min=-3900)

ProtectionAgainstShadow=-(1+5000^tier-4999.999^tier-star^(tier+2)) (Min=-9000, Max=0)

Still have no idea what these formulas result in

@OP/Sandwich-Hero | +1 (for most of the ideas)

Make a better title man. Your thread would get so much more attention. I do like the sounds of most of the gear in this thread though. I would appreciate using something different in Tier 2 Lockdown than just my generic Swift Flourish and Sealed Sword loadout. Swift Flourish and dat Clinger sounds nice. <3

i spent too much time on them formulas

I don't even know what the formulas result in

Here's the drawbacks to using Clinger in LD

-much more likely to lose your Hook
-stand still while charging or you lose your Hook
-piercing, very vulnerable to piercing defence if used with flourish

Also, I'm not that good at naming things, so I wouldn't know what to name it besides "Suggestions for Stuff"
