I guess in theory, you could go down to like D 28 and have both halves of the map look like this.

Scarlet Fortress - Cravat Hall has a wall of blocks in front of the Elevator. I am not sure when this wall was added, but I am positive that at some point OOO allowed you to just bypass the level entirely by going straight to the Elevator.

If this can be part of the 'varying degree of control' Nick mentioned way back when, that would be swell. I'm personally sick of running into parties too scared to run a Compounds level.

@u77654 hmmm, someone doesn't

hmmm, someone doesn't understand sarcasm :)

I just never encountered anything like this and i do clockworks quite often...

And I'm with ya Whim. Compounds aren't that bad, though I wish the payout was a bit higher

There are four possible explanations for this:

  • You disconnected, and while you were, your party did the level for you, causing you to teleport to the party button. They finished the rest of the level but exited before jumping on the elevator because they were sick of waiting for you to reconnect.
  • You joined a party in the middle of a run just as they got to the Party Button. They finished the rest of the level, then kicked you.
  • You recorded a run starting when you reached the party button. The absence of your invinciframes doesn't disprove this.
  • The server instance memory reached its maximum allocation, the instances were not flushed from RAM, or some similar error, and you were placed in a pre-completed level.

I was solo the whole time.

I was solo the whole time. The first half of the level was decent. I ran the 2nd part of the level before recording it.. all it was was the button, a key, a door, and the exit.

I was mainly throwing this out there to see if it was some freak accident or someone else has experienced this at some point. Just curious :)

When I am speed running

I am superfilled with joy when I get one of those Deconstruction Zones and the exit/elevator is only several tiles away from the Entrance.

Then that brings up another possibility:

A previous party suffered from the spawn location glitch, causing them to be placed after the party button. They shrugged it off as a weird anomaly, then completed the rest of the level. For some reason the level remained in server memory, and you joined it starting from the starting elevator like what should have happened.

A rare case of two glitches being combined.

I think "Boss mode" would be

I think "Boss mode" would be better.

FIghting all 4 bosses right after eachother, on 4 floors.

Which would give people means to grind tokens, so just make it 1 token per boss you beat or something.

That sounds pretty awesome as well!
I still want scenerios... like Vanaduke raiding Haven or something and we have to fight him off.

I like your idea post 13, but I have a question.

Without health pads on the floor?

Nah mate, after each fight

Nah mate, after each fight health pads.
Maybe even combine bossed, like JK + vana at the same time and they'd have combination attacks.

Like, the JK spin attack combined with vana's mace for more reach or something.

This game has so much

This game has so much potential.

I want this game to be played by the amount of people that play league of legends for example.

1. Join someone else's party in a Danger Mission
2. Go solo
3. Skip the first two floors, go straight to treasure room
4. Collect treasure
5. Go back to step one

Or you could skip the 1-4 floors in FSC to get the three tokens from Vanaderp.

Or you could skip the 1-4 floors in FSC to get the three tokens from Vanaderp.

But then you'd still have to kill him, which takes time.

And a Danger Mission would yield more Sparks/Orbs, depending on if you were after them or not.
