I am Coelydragon, a vanguard that has recently been introduced to the fun brutality of T3 GvG LD. However, I am woefully inadequate in equipment. My only 5* wep is a Glacius lvl 9 (3 radiants away from 10). I wear full vog and a VPS. I have a master blast bomb, shadow driver, strike needle, s. nightblade, winmillion, and various other star level gear. I play as a recon. When I solo, I cap so I want one loadout that is good for close combat or at least getting out of danger. When I go wih a group I tend to death mark for others so longer ranged weapons are fine. Assuming I can craft up to 2 new 4* weps and/or 1 new 5* wep, what are the two best loadouts for me? I do not use slots.

Thanks Rezzler
Correct me if I'm wrong but isn't that more for offensive strikers? I'm looking for one defensive set and one assisstive set.
Zeddy suggested a Nitronome and I'm thinking it'd pair well with the Glacius for ctr max bombing (after buying radiants) and ctr vh ASI low Glacius for a defensive set. For the supporting set I'm looking towards a gun and a strong sword so maybe one that Rezzler suggested. Would a rigadoon help? The chance of stun should really make it easier for teammates.

Don't bother with Rigadoon. The stun chance is extremely small, it's just not worth it.
Ok, as a bare minimum loadout:
Flourish. Crucial for most recons
HOWEVER: since you have vog set, using a DA/GF may be better.
Here iswhat I cwould do with your set-
Craft a lvl 10 grand flourish
-Craft a lvl 10 faust (maybe)
Or buy 3 radiants off AH and get ur glacius maxed out
Steps to victory:
1) Initiate AT
2) Charge spam Glacius
3) Obliterate frozen enemies with another charge or deathmark combo
4) Swipe people who get close to you with the flourish
Or you could get a pulsar.
Also, I highly recommend getting heart trinkets. They make a huge survivability difference.
Other then that, as you mess around with more stuff, you may eventually wish to move to better PvP gear that increases damage, such as chaos/wolver/shadowsun (gunner/swordie stuff), ASI UVs to compensate (asi med is best bang for your buck), and trinkets.
Welcome...to hell. MuaHHAHAHA
