A knight named Veassenn quit on me. He was gone for a long time, and I was really stoked to see him again. Told me it was his birthday.

He told me he was quitting, tired of the game. Sold all his stuff away.

I got him some games for his new year of living. He gave me some stuff as goodbye. We shot off some SK fireworks.

Dude gave me everything he had.; the things he gave me is all I have left of him.

He's gone.

Soon enough, all of us here are gonna be gone from this game. Just soon enough.

I was trying to be poetic about it.

Kinda like the old underground music joints with the free form lyrics.

MAN, why do ppl have to quit and sell all their stuff? I just keep mine in case if one day I decided to return.

Have you ever seen a friend quit?

Why'd he/she go?
How'd you feel about the matter?

A recently recruited guildmate that was super rich also quit like a week or 2-3 days after recruitment after our RRTs run. For unknown reasons. I can think of one theory, but it'd be too personal.

MAN, why do ppl have to quit and sell all their stuff? I just keep mine in case if one day I decided to return.

pretty much the thing i would do too, if i would quit i would give only my crowns, energy and accesories that friends or other playes can sell to get some profit, but my stuff that took me time to craft and heat or buy them from other players with certain uvs no because i spent time to get them, also because i know sometimes i will grab an old game just to remember how much fun i have with it.

well anyway is sad to hear that friends and people leave the game because they get bored of it. right now my guild is really inactive isnt like when we started to play spiral knights, however i keep trying to play at least a bit. but everyday its kinda hard to try to play, i used to test new weapons but with the radiant drought i cant try it at full potential as 5 star weapon. i only did it first to have fun trying new ways to play, and second to give my comments to friends and people with curiosity about such weapon.

then i used to play arcade but lately i dont like how arcade levels are choosen, i dont mind compounds but sadly they dont reward you a bit (and yes i know they give you mats but i dont feel like spend my time selling mats and trying to figure out the best prices and stuff i just want to have fun and spending time selling the mats to get the crowns missing from compounds isnt well.. funny for me but maybe for others). and then arenas mixed with clockworks are a pretty rare gate (or a gate with at least 2 arenas that are not randomly choosen) arenas are my favorite maps. or how about those gates with fiends from depth 24 to 28? i used to go there because in those places are so easy to heat weapons (weapon station, shorts levels, nice amount of heat) but now even arcade dont spawn those levels like used to be. so pretty much i just enter to see if there a gate that worth the time to play if the gate dont have such levels, then i just wait for the next week.

lastly i used to help new players with their mission since i dont have an objective on this game ( since is almost "Impossible" now to get dark fang because item drops from treasury boxes were removed, well thats what people says, someone need to confirm this). but its like they now dont need help at all.

however i will still wait for next updates (like the gunner update and someone is telling that "we going to get an awesome update in febraury" but i just prefer to wait and see) and for myself im still waiting for arcade redux update i have my hopes on that update.

few people will quit, others will join, not the big deal, but sure is sad when a friend leave because they dont find something to do in spiral, maybe people will suggest what to do but sadly they wouldnt give a try if that thing isnt what they like to do no mattter what they reason have.

why not try to convice friends to not give their stuff until the big next update? where they can say if the update worth their time to play the content or just quit the game for real and give all their stuff?. its the thing im doing lately

"i know sometimes i will grab an old game just to remember how much fun i have with it."

Before my 17th birthday comes this year, I plan to take a nostalgia trip by playing through all of the games I've had back in my childhood and before moving. Sadly SK won't be a part of it due to obvious reasons.

I've seen a man quit before. I was so sad.
His name was Jctc-the-Mighty. We gamed together on SK for a long time, and then one day he....was gone. I was so...very sad. The only people I have near are now Carbonjinxmesa, Deadly-Panda, the Trolling Three, and some others. But I will always be waiting for Jctc to return, even it takes an eternity. I will keep him on the friend list. ;;

Feels :(

All that has a beginning has an end unfortunately... as a player who once left the game and the friends i made in it, i know how it feels to leave good people behind. The fun you had together, the jokes and banter with one another... all are memories that are somewhat hard to forgo.

As a player who returned just a month ago, i can also relate to how you feel. All those people i knew back then whom i expected to play with once again are now long gone. The best you can do my friend is make new relationships in-game ^_^, that and to make sure to save a place for your friend who left... who knows, he might pick up the game once again and return (like i did).

I'm on the verge of it.

Jempire's stealing the souls of all my friends, there aren't much safe guilds to be around, financial issues everywhere, unable to link steam account to fix said issues, yeah you wouldn't want to be me.

Alas, we must face out fears....

In all MMORPGs I've played, this has been one of the most free, no questing sort of, thing I've ever seen. I love that factor, but others may not. They may feel its simply pointless to go around and around Cradle, killing random monsters for their money. It just takes the proper mind set to not leave a game like this. The mind set most of us have.
