I'm getting close to the mission and I've started to wonder what the best Loadout would be. I only have 2 weapon slots, should I get more or can I manage, with what weapons???

I wouldn't be too worried about difficulty, Vana has been nerved to death, so he's only a mere shell of what he used to be. You'll mainly see undead like fiends and zombies. Almost everyone who grinds vans brings a Blitz Needle to take care of the trojans, so there's one weapon. There are a few constructs, so you should bring an elemental weapon as well, but you probably already were bringing one for the zombies.

Glacius? I prefer Combuster, as do most people; it has a higher dps charge attack. Sure, Glacius's Freeze does thaw damage, but that's equivalent to a single explosion or two of the charge attack.
A Shivermist Buster wouldn't be bad, but mist bombs have incredibly long charge times, and slow you down a bit.
Don't get a Blitz; leave your Strike Needle at level 10.
As for armor, in tier 3 everything kills you in a few hits anyhow, so status's are the main concern if you have trouble surviving the slag crowds. The Grey Owlite is a good shield to bring.

To be honest, it's all about your skill. Armors doesn't make that big difference.
Anyways, the gear you should take really depends what kind of party you have. I myself am more of a suporter so I use Triglav and Blitz Beedle/Stagger Storm.

Trust me, you'll learn to dodge when you're in FSC full valkyrie.

I never buy weapon slots. My Combuster owns all.
You need a elemental sword and a blitz needle if you want to solo vana (without fighting boss) in the future.
Here is my loadout:
Divine veil
Armor of the fallen/volcanic demo suit (if ppl are going for vana and I get shiver)
Blitz needle
Glacius/divine avenger both good elemental sword, depend on your style.
Grey owlite/wise owlite shield(you will get Crest of almire later) is a must if you want to survive FSC.
