What is with the sudden increase in Prismatic Glow Eyes?

Over the past 8-10 hours, my merchant buddies and I have realised that there're too many Prismatic Glow Eyes appearing in the Auction House.

x10 Prismatic Glow Eyes for 3 Million Crowns buyout, x2 Prismatic Glow Eyes for 800k buyout etc etc.

These Glow Eyes were not released in the depot, and so far, approximately 30-40 Prismatic Glow Eyes have been sold in the AH and my friends and I are realising that something is definitely wrong here. Players may have sold it to one another, but I still find it ridiculous that this many has appeared within 1/3 of a day. Could it be a glitch, or even a hack? But I cannot say that for sure because I have no evidence to support my earlier statement.

Any infomation about this would help a lot to finding out where these large amount of Glow Eyes came from. Thank you for reading and have a nice day. :)

Like the knight name change pass, the eyes are maaaybbbeeee released in the New Year Party Pack and then put on Auction House.
