I mean, not only OOO would earn as much money as wolver tail from this, it is certainly a new style for those of you that is sick and tired to seeing wolver tails waving in your face!

I think they would be great! A snake-like dragon tail with a pointed, arrow-tipped end. Comes in all colors.
I wouldn't really want to buy one but I'd love to see them. Throw together a "dragon" promo while we're at it with various dragon-themed costume items and maybe a Fang of Vog/Combuster reskin as a rare item. I'd put some money in for that!

Dragons are not an extinct breed, like everyone thinks they are. All OOO has to do is add a new dragon monster type (preferably Beast) along with this promo, since it would not be against the lore of the game.

Last time I checked, there were no cats in this game (or Miles "Tails" Prower for that matter), so where do we get their tails from?

@Sham: No, I was sort of expecting a thick tail until it gets skinnier and skinnier. Not too thick, otherwise it would look really awkward. Remember, cat tails are sort of the same length all the way, until the end.
@Masterreeve: I think....OOO should add a dragon NPC of some sort with it. Maybe the last of the dragons that exist on Cradle, should you choose to slay it or not. Or maybe they can speak...that would be really interesting!

Horizontal vents would be more draconic, honestly. Vertical Vents look likes ears, but "horizontal" vents would be horns.

It's just an idea right now, and we can keep building on it.
Accessories can introduce an armor bottom slot dragon tail with the wolver tail animation and looks like a scaly snake tail with an arrow-shaped point at the end, a helmet back accessory slot horizontal vents which stick out like the current scale helms, and are basically the same as vertical vents, just turned sideways, and a helmet top accessory that looks like dragon horns (think dread skelly mask).
Costumes could be something similar to the polar wolf pack, but dragon-ized(i.e., armor that is based off of scale mail, but is definitely different).
This promo could also introduce sprite accessories (this is a huge maybe, but would be a perfect opportunity) with promo art focusing on the Drakon.
We could see a return of all varieties of dragon wings in promo boxes, and just have as lot of fun! Imagine fire confetti that bursts into flames when thrown in the air!

All these sounds like a great idea! They will not only benefit the OOO, but also the community.
Although, I think it is better to have variety on the different types of dragon tails. All of them don't have to be ending in a arrow. One can not have any end at all, just getting skinnier and skinnier, or one that has marine-dragon type of spikes on the tail, as well as regular spikes on the tail, as well as what you talked about.
The only change in the other tails are the color schemes (ex., military vs divine), so a change in model for a single accessory would seem rather unnecessary. Adding new models for the costumes would be enough to satisfy me. I can see the dragon tail having a different model, but I was trying to make it stand out a bit more obviously from the existing tails.
But that thick tail going to thin tail is enough to make it unique. Cat tails are the same length all the way through, and wolver tails are bushy.
The base would probably be small but extend, then get smaller again. I think of a snake or dinosaur tail with that setup... An arrowed tail speaks "dragon" to me, but that's just me.
How about some sort of smoke aura where puffs of smoke come out, and then rise up?

My only concerns for tails that have such a large base is that it wouldn't be able to blend with the costume or armor you are wearing. It will start to protrude as though it is some enormous appendage or phantom tentacle, and just stays there... yep.. The smaller the girth of the tail base, the better it hides itself.
Most costumes and armors are just not designed for such.

The smoke aura isn't how I had pictured it. I thought of it to be coming up from the upper front and then it would go up. Kind of like the Dread Skelly Mask's eyes, but it goes a little down first.

If OOO ever did this kind of stuff, they'd have to add a new monster family with Poison, Shock, Ice, Fire, and regular versions. Maybe the Poison one would breathe poisonous breath and the Ice one would breathe frost, kind of like in Skyrim. Shock, Fire, and the normal would breathe fire, and the normal one having a possibility to stun, and the others being able to inflict their respective statuses.

The dragons family (monster) can also swat its tail around. It can be a way of damaging. Heck, they can make a box like that.
