I think it would be nice if there was a DLC where you play a gremlin.
Like the normal game but with other weapons, story and (for example) Emberlight as your base.
What do you guys think about that ?

Too many games get DLC happy
Too many games get DLC happy (exclusive playable content) and that is what ultimately drives me away from those games. I vote no more DLC and free expansions with CE/accessory promotions to go with them as they have been doing.

Maybe not as a DLC, but as a prequel/sequel might be nice.
Like Halo:Reach compared to the Halo trilogy?
Maybe Tinkazar or Seerus or whoever built the Clockworks or something.

Of course you realize there has already been 13** DLC's released so far. I don't really approve of the fact that every single one of them, except for Crimson Hammer, can be destroyed in game. Imagine if deleting your save game in a standard commercial game also permanently forbids you from using your DLC's again - ever. Thanks, free2play system designers.
**I don't know what "206520-Spiral Knights DLC Range" is, if anything at all. Its also surprising that the Starter pack and now the Deluxe Starter pack haven't shown up on Steam.

DLC is fine
If the DLC is extensive, such as Operation: Crimson Hammer, then great! I recall a thread in the suggestions forum a bit ago asking to play as a gremlin, but that would break the continuity of the entire game. (you never play as anyone but you, why should that change now?)
As long as the DLC content is available through energy, then that's fine.

How to play as a Gremlin with DLC:
Step 1. Buy Operation Crimson Hammer.
Step 2. Farm Tier 3 Operation Crimson Hammer 3 times.
Step 3. Farm Tier 3 missions and/or arcade for 3 eternal orbs.
Step 4. Craft Perfect Mask of Seerus.
Step 5. Gwemlin!
(This is the second thread I have read today about playing or becoming another creature. The Spiral Order must be coming to an abrupt animal loving end. How unfortunate.)

@^ Just playing PvZ 2... costs $20 US to unlock six plants that are from the original game (except the Power Lily which I wouldn't reccomend bringing to levels). Does that seem like they CARE? Sure, they removed the keys and stars, but come on... buying them with coins... why not?
