For every time I LD with Iron Slug.
For every time anyone asks "Whats that gun!?"
For every time I'm in a 4 person party and can't flinch monsters.
This is all I can imagine:
Everytime I Play with Iron Slug
I also pull out my Iron Slug quite often. Sometimes for defense, others times for offense. How do I use it offensively? Get ASI CTR Damage VS All Maximum! Then just use it like a cannon and destroy everything.
Next on the list: how does one make a Volcanic Pepperbox stronger than a Blitz Needle? Point blank rang charge spamming to one shot everything!
Next on the list: how could a Wild Hunting Blade outclass Dread Venom Striker? Knock everything down with it over and over again!
Next on the list: what good is a Venom Veiler in comparison to every other bomb? Poison every monster you see and let your team kill everything 10x faster!
Next on the list...
I lost @ "I'm bad and that's good" XD

@Bamzalot:
So you mean something like Chaos Set, swiftstrike buckler, two elite quick draw modules, and the pet gun damage med perk, yes? Then all your guns can be equally upgraded with max everything, and it will still fail to shine in comparison to your other guns :(
I will say that it's more of a defensive gun. If you shoot twice quickly enough (either by shooting fast enough to reload or via double-switch), then it can still flinch monsters. Too bad about its offensive abilities though :\
I did want to share that I was in the middle of heating a Fiery Pepperbox and thought it'd be a good idea to replace my Blitz Needle with it for a Vana run, cause they're kind of the same role, and when playing solo, the charge nearly kills trojans, so it's "good enough", right? Also decided to bring Nova, Umbra, and Storm driver.
... Then I got into the Vanaduke fight, was underwhelmed by the poor lv6 Fiery Pepperbox, so I started using Nova Driver, remembered it did 'ineffective damage' because Vana resists are mean, realized that Umbra did the same damage, so I ended up doing the rest of the boss fight with Umbra Driver.
such a painful ending to a fairly decent run :\
I feel the same way with my Volcanic Pepperbox, or my Biohazard.
hero, those aren't so bad. I really mean it.
I don't think Biohazard is completely bad on the inside. If you use it with vortex, it can wreck things.
Heck, my cleanest solo runs (0-2 deaths) of Grinchlin assault were done with Biohazard as my main gun instead of Umbra. Half the gremlins would run away and half of them would run into the bullets, and if there were too many clumped up chasing me, then some sporadic charges would interrupt or kill them :D
Its range is nice, too. Actually a pretty sweet gun. Can't say it can win any races though.

Now Volcanic Pepperbox... isn't it the same damage as Plague Needle, except shorter range and knockback on charge?
*Insert the "Just how bad can I be?" song from The Lorax movie here*
Yeah, I tried out my biohazard on grinclin assult as well. It worked really well. But I don't bring to parties because my team mates kill them before I can detonate a charge. There is that rare chance that someone brings a cataylzer, in which case, I explode with happiness.
As for the VP, I don't know it has the same damage as a Plague. Also, you are right that is has knockback and the range is shorter. But it can set stuff on fire, always a plus.
It has the same base damage as plague needle but nothing is weak to normal. The strongest of poisons only help so much.
No, it does not. On enemies that have the same normal defense as they do piercing defense, Plague Needle does more damage than Volcanic Pepperbox, even before Poison is applied.
@Hexzyle: VP still creates a nice little wall of gtfo though. Gotta love dat knockback.
Iron slug is my jam. Or was. I kind of can't play the game without a working computer. But I could never get iron slug to work for me in pvp.

If you use Callahan and Slug as Recon with Nameless/Justifier in Lockdown, it works just as well as it makes people laugh after a deathmark (from personal experience).
The best feeling ever is landing a charge attack on a striker in PvP with Iron Slug from the bottom screen; they literally go crazy and boost around swinging their flourishes at thin air.
That or using the SUDARUSKA charge on frozen players.
Or killing people with Venom Veiler detonations.
In both cases I usually can't kill anyone, but it's fun and variety is the spice of life
Of course nobody would know it exists because it's underrated.
