OOO Commits another Travesty!
I'm pretty sure everyone wanted SK trading cards when Valve first revealed it....
If someones gonna leak controversy for no reason atleast make it believable secondly I remember people talking about trading cards MONTHS ago...so for this to be a issue you're obviously taking it wrong. Thirdly its OOO, they have the right to take our suggestions without liability or net gain. Read the terms and conditions for once it says that. Oh and lastly its the internet, are you seriously going to believe every stupid thing someone posts saying "this is what they say"? No....just....just no gtfo already.
You have to be very stupid if you think that OOO stole the cards idea from Jempire... There are a few topics about the SK steam trading cards in the forums months ago (one of them was done by me)

I still have a hunch that either Jempire or Echo of Silence are one of the secret GM guilds...
Anyway, keep in mind that these are all new colors...sure they're retextures, but at least the old ones keep their value.
EDIT: By the way, a long time ago I created some Spiral Knights trading cards. I could easily say that they are ripping ME off, but no, I won't go there.

Cmon, the Jempires ORIGINATED from SK. They can't just say SK copied the Jemp's ideas. I mean, that's like the first man saying to God: "Hey! You copied my idea for apple trees! Grr!" Ridiculous!

All I'm going to say. Unless someone in Jempire had the Bright idea to release Treading cards BEFORE SK went to Steam, I highy doubt that they were copied. I mean really. Game goes to steam - Game on Steam - Steam Trading cards. Let's face it. OOO knew SK was going on steam before the player-base. And they've probly had the idea since then. It just so happens to come out after the Jempires Trading cards.

JeM is doing what appears to be a Card Game (it's not actually a TRADING card game since, you know, all the cards so far are free on their website). What OOO is doing is Steam Trading Cards, which are basically those old stupid now-nearly-dead 'trading cards' that you can't play games with (like Baseball Cards), but you get weird steam points for full sets. Two COMPLETELY different things.
Trading cards began in the 1880's by ciggarate co. in America and in 1920's trading cards took off with baseball great's like Babe Ruth, Lou Gehrig, Ty Cobb , Rogers Hornsby and others.
So...everybody did a travesty of coming out with nothing fresh. "Pokemon! You suck!"
