This is a bit of a long idea so I thought I'd throw it into a separate thread.

Pro LD would be basically custom lobbies, but different. In order to start a Pro LD match, a player must pay 50* Krogmos. Players that want to join would have to pay 30* Krogmos and get an invite from the leader. The lobby would have no timer. The party leader would be able to customize the game from here.

Basic customizations are as follows*:
Select teams
Select star limit
Select time limit
Select map

Advanced customizations would require 10 Krogmos per. They are as follows*:
Select mode (CTF, tournament, etc)
UVs
Class modifications
Weapon limits
Wagers (mats, cr, CE)

Now here's the monetization kicker: a Pro LD pass which gives the player free Pro LD for a month. Can only be bought with real money. It's debatable whether advanced mods would be covered by this or not.

Is my idea that bad? I thought I fleshed it out enough.

50-30 Krogmos for a custom lobby? Too expensive IMO. The only ones being able to afford one would be the "pro" players, and why would a "pro" player go to a more balanced place when they are already winning in the unbalanced one?
Players with no UVs or Trinkets are the more interested in this kind of customisation. Or, at least, I know I am. I'm not a regular LD player because of that.

I'd make it buyable with energy or real cash.

^ Not a good idea.

If it cost energy or especially real cash, no one would buy it. Also, Wavara makes a VERY good point. Even though noobs will manage to get 50 krogmos eventually, it wouldn't matter.
