also...
having every damage type would be useless. You would gain a damage bonus vs every monster in the game... but it would then be diminished because every monster resists. Aka, you hit a slime. Instead of dealing 500 damage, you deal +250 damage, because of shadow. However, you also deal -250 damage, because of Pierce.
Does that make sense? Obviously not real in-game numbers, but I think you get the picture.

It wouldn't, actually. It'd do less damage than a weapon with the same amount of damage in pure normal, but damage would increase by 16% per damage boost so it'd be OP.

it would probably deal normal damage and i guess have a really short range of attack
i guess instead of statuses it could have like instead of damage bonus vs some enemies like some weapons have, it would have damage bonus low to all or something like that
