First doctor who worlds in time. Now, Nick Popovich is gone. What is going on? This doesn't feel like coincidence
Alright, OOO. WHATS GOING ON!?
Yeah, they seem like they aren't a straightforward lot.
They shouldn't be. Not everything belongs in an open book, good and bad. Let's use the example of a child buying their mother a piece of jewelry for Mother's Day. Should he tell everyone in the household and town for leaks to occur and her to find out before hand, to possibly get siblings to do the same and take his glory away. What about thieves finding out and stealing it before she gets it or right after. Now the bad, if that same child were to get a detention in school for any reason, should he be required to embarrass himself and tell the entire town, his boy scout troop and any sports teams he is on. It would hurt and embarrass him and serve no other purpose at all.
Okay, I ended up posting one part of what I was saying in regards to Nick leaving in the "I wonder why Sega bought OOO" thread up in general. I also speculated that Nick could have left but the man behind the user name still be here under a different user name. Dr Who, I think the BBC wanted their license back because the site didn't have the success level they wanted and maybe planning on putting it elsewhere. I compared Dr Who to Puzzle Pirates.
I think the two aren't related or only mildly. There could have been a major argument and Nick could have rage quit. It could have been with Sega and prompted by the Dr Who thing.
Or maybe someone was bogarting a blunt in the office and that caused it.
That would be a funny rumor to start. xD
Fair enough Iamnoone, fair enough.
btw, how was the raiment?

maybe he started playing Spiral Knights legitly on a new account
It would be cool if he did. Even cooler if he started a guild. I'd join but he'd have to give me some kind of a clue because otherwise I'd ignore the invite like all the other random invites and friend requests. I'm quite sure he plays here. He probably has more accounts than anyone. Remember he's been in every nook and cranny playing with all of us, maybe even a ravine.
Maybe the guy that is no one and Pi are right, but now it seems like Spiral Knights are going to go to the dogs without Nick. Might be same like with Minecraft.
Little secret.
He is she and she's not Pi.
I hope SK doesn't go to the dogs. I hope they have the inter-strength to be able to see some of the things they have been doing over the last 7 or 8 months that have been leading SK down that path and correct things. I hope what is going on within the community that is helping SK go down that path gets handled too. SK is one of the true gems in the online game world. I think one of the things that has amazed me the most is this boy toy has been able to draw boys and girls in and retain them. I remember back in the day when the game makers of other games would make their games then come here to play. xD
Personally, I have also been suffering too much game loss in recent months. So many games have closed their doors in the last month or two. I'd hate to see it happen here too, with or without Nick.
Even if it is not coincidence, I don't really think OOO will tell us much information --if anything at all. Just my opinion though.
