If your game client closes

If your game client closes and you log back into your knight before you are disconnected from being idle, then yes it brings you back.

And if you can't come back, a

And if you can't come back, a GM can still add you to the team again.

That happened to me on my first ever shadow lair run. Thank goodness I reconnected to enjoy the rest of it.

Well, I was just fine not-so-feathered friends and I DC'd about 5 times and my friend more than that until they were kicked off the game for it. So, I filed a report them and this awesome person came.

Have you and your party members file support tickets

Worked for us, as seen above.

If your party members send in a support ticket and you do as well, it will work. I sent one in the moment Coriolis joined us, which felt sort of awkward.

There's a saying that doing a shadow lair is actually just an excuse to meet a GM. Because it happens like half the time.

Right, it doesn't happen on purpose. It's just that shadow lairs are very prone to disconnects because of the massive amounts of lag they generate, and people don't take paying 1,800 CE for a key only to disconnect halfway through lightly. The same thing happened to a friend I was running my first SL with.
