basically my problem is i start up the game, log in normally, no issues. as soon as i get into the game though, the frame rate drastically drops from 62 frames per second down to about 1-3 frames at random intervals. this continues regardless of if I'm in Haven, in a party in the clockworks, soloing the clockworks or even in the camp before Haven.

i have tried setting the settings down from high to low with no visual difference on the erratic frame rate.

the computer im using components are as follows:
OS: windows 7 64bit
CPU: AMD Phenom II x4 3.4ghz
memory: 8gb
GPU: ATI Radeon HD 5770

as a note, i know i did not have this issue previous to the auction house update on the 17th.

What version of the Catalyst

What version of the Catalyst driver are you using? 11.5 seems to introduce stuttering in SK across the the entire supported hardware range.

Yeah. I've confirmed this on

Yeah. I've confirmed this on 6000 and 4000 series cards, so it's no surprise that it occurs on 5000 series too. The most recent and best driver for playing Spiral Knights at the moment is Catalyst 11.2 (there's lighting errors in 11.3 and 11.4).

No problem. If you're so

No problem.

If you're so inclined you can also report this problem through the Driver Feedback. This way AMD get get off its duff of three consecutive drivers that have hiccups in OpenGL.
