One person found a love puppy there, and killed it and a trinket spawned. I saw the screenshot and I felt so bad for him.

You know how lucky you are if a love puppy spawns there? You can just run all you want without the fear of getting hit by a rocket in the face.
but.
You know how unlucky you are if you do kill it and a love locket spawns there :<

Yes. Every time a turret family monster spawns, there's a 1% or so chance that a love puppy will spawn instead. It probably wouldn't drop a trinket because respawning enemies don't drop loot.
