I am not happy about this delay, but I am at the same time happy that we're not getting some half-(redacted) Update. We're getting an AWEsome Update! And I know some of you will still complain about their promise and what not, but think about it, Do you guys want an "ok" update or a "GREAT,One of the best Additions to the game we love" Update? Nick just left, and I think it would honor him to not rage about this.
Im really happy that they are doing their best to give the best experience for me, for you, and for the whole spiral knights community.
To The Whole Spiral Knights Team,
I salute you, keep up the good work, and Dont listen to these ungrateful-(redacted) that will be popping up here on the forums.
(even though i know you guys wont take it personally ^_^)
Thanks for all the Fun. May the energy be with you. TM ^_^ - Hrpb
When developers try to give an ETA of when an update or a feature comes out, it increases the pressure on the team to push out that feature or update at the deadline and ups the anticipation and hope of players, but if they fail at bringing the feature to the table, it makes the devs feel bad they couldnt get to their goal/deadline and the players are left questioning about what happened and are annoyed/sad and feel that they feel entitled for some reason to get that feature by whatever date the developers stated.
I think the better approach for OOO to have taken at the very start was to say they were developing it and that the update would be in the near future (something like what Riot Games Devs says, Soon™) and try to communicate with us more on the forums about what is happening. Small updates like on Jan 15th and Jan 22nd that just say "more behind the scene changes" could at least be more detailed, like if its related to future release content, they could just say that changes are being made for future features or something.
I just wished that members of OOO would talk more to the community or else we get left in the dark..
