So after thinking about this boss thats swinging around, I'm purdy excited to see that theres a new idea concept swinging around the corner. That being said I wana hear your input; what do you think the boss is going to be? Do you think its going to be a awesome knight standoff like Arkus or a epixly awesome fresh design? Personally i have a strong belief that were facing King Tinkinzar or some special gremlin type boss. For certain reasons:

For one after the fight with Razwog he has a crimson emblem on his shirt.

For two Right before we go on the awesome standoff battle against Seerus we get a glimps of two modules one being "the nine see all" and two being "the king"

For three we are getting close to the core of Cradel and if Operation Tier 4 is in effect then we can confirm that we will be facing the swarm since King Tinkinzar is supposedly linked to the creation of the swarm.

This being said either we're facing an epixly awesome battle against the creator OR we are facing one of his henchmen of the 9. We already took out two (that being if you bought the DLC) so what makes you think the others arent also on our hit list?

Wada ya think about this? Sound logical or illogical?

It's a very obvious choice, but it's also kinda cliche, the whole "I created it all, and I can destroy it as well! *Brutally slaughtered anyways*"

We didn't take out two; Seerus fled and was never seen again, not killed, and Razwog is unconfirmed on actually being a Crimson Order Member. He seems too weak to be the best of the best schemer, though. He just threw some explosives, used a weak flamethrower, and played possum.

I WOULD like to see more of the interrelationship between the Crimson Order folks to be expanded, though.

Who sent you infernal, iron assassins? Was it Herex? It matters not...

That implies that they don't exactly love each other. Heck, you could say that this is good proof of Razwog not being "special" enough to get roflstomped by the other Crimson blokes.

Maybe Herex is the new T3

Maybe Herex is the new T3 Boss, but I would prefer that he stays in the 'shadows' with some references in other dialogues.

I think that it is the time to see another gremlin from the crimson order!

Another refference is that well...because we've obviously all seen the gunning update and while I dont want Eury yelling NO SPOILERS! I'll just say the gun update has a couple references to counteract gremlins in many ways large and larger. The diversity is building up so we can take on the new redux, and possibly the Operation Tier 4....if thats even a possibility. Over all I'm kinda excited for this.

vana has no type. defenses aren't a proper way to say that it's fiend cause they are unique. the fact they are similar to fiends doesn't say anything. besides, what reference would it have with fiends?

If this was ever true, I can deconfirm it now.

Due to some terrible mistake when heating a Pepperbox in a solo run (I replaced my Blitz with a Fiery Pepperbox that I was heating, then brought Umbra/Nova/Storm), I ended up having to fight Vanaduke with my alchemers. Nova did ineffective damage, as did Umbra (equal damage). Because they were equally ineffective (not immune), I did the rest of the boss fight with just Umbra Driver.

But....its still a fiend. Thats like calling someone whos part italian, part black and part white not black.....when they obviously have black ethnicity inside them. On a side note anyone here wonder if theres gonna be a sword update for sk anytime in the future?

why it's still fiend? because the defenses are similar to fiends? by that logic, japanese and chinese can be put toghether.

lordofnecro, they added codexes before every boss battle (even the battlepod at the beginning of the game and razwog).

But the real question is what will be the true boss? Will it be the king? Revenge of razwog (lul)? My total offset idea of the owl mages returning? I dunno but in reality im puttin my bet on it being a gremlin even though i seriously wana face something spooky themed like the owl mages.

Why would a probably thousands of years old apparently highly advanced and intelligent race decide, "Oh, let's go and kill some knights instead of being mutually beneficial for the lulz!"?

The real boss is obviously the purple Tortodrone, and the other Tortodrones will randomly appear in the clockworks. [/Bluffcheck]
