Most fashionable armor set to have a Proto Crest on?

I recently saw a thread by a person who clearly treasure his Proto Crest enough to ask a GM to move it to his other account. That got me thinking; why would you need a Proto Crest?

[To put on armor stupi-]

Shut up brackets. Of course you put it on armor, but WHICH armor? Proto Armor is an obvious ringer, but many Vanguards with years of fashion experience are cut off from the new Proto Armor set. I'd like for those same specialists to recommend costume sets to stick a Proto Crest on, with any other accessories they feel are good complementing the green badge.

But on a more seerus note, I would say on an Elemental Cloak if I had one, or boosted plate armor.

Wait, if it's only "anymore", does that mean cloaks with crests on them are now very valuable?

oh going through some old threads, it was only the gray feather mantle that used to allow front stuff but no longer does.

I wasted mine.

I, being the moron I can be, put my Proto Crest on Ignition Armor. I feel like an absolute idiot for doing it. Now before I say what I should have put it on, does anyone know of a way to get more Proto Crests? Maybe quitting the News Letter and signing back up for it?

I think that anyone who has a green personal color will find plenty of luck with Proto Crests. There are few options that could go wrong with that color. If not, green armor in general is a bit limited. If you are lucky enough to own some more rare costumes like the Hunter sets Proto Crests could look nice with that.

Now that I think about it, that Proto Crest would have gone great with my gunner outfit. But I guess a barrel belly will work.
