Any chance we'll see the 'rejigged' equation for determining the listing fee?
From what I can tell, "fairer for cheaper items" just means "higher for everything else."

After some testing, default listing prices for 4 hours:
0 stars: 10
1 stars: 25
2 stars: 50
3 stars: 100
4 stars: 200
5 stars: 500
Multiplied by quantity of items.

+10% of starting bid if it goes over the default listing price

Examples:
10 red shards, listing is 10*10 = 100. So then you only have to pay extra if your starting bid is over 1000.
One 5* recipe, listing is 500. So you pay 10% of the starting bid if it's over 5k. (Which it should be unless you like to take huge risks)

After doing that calculation, multiply by the following:
Time factors:
12 hours = x 1.2
24 hours = x 1.5
48 hours = x 2
