http://forums.spiralknights.com/en/node/9621 <==== Nice Info on new Listing Prices.

So now, overall it is more expensive to list the items.
If no one buys, you are screwed.

And two days listings....20% LOL

Will cost 10k for 2 day listing of 5* recipe minimum.
It's better if you have a friend buy it then let it expire because otherwise it will cost you MORE! LMAO!
(unless someone buys it for 100k YAHAKAHAHAKA)

Yes I don't understand the

Yes I don't understand the reasoning for 20% listing fee for 2 days when it results to people just having a friend or an alt buy the auction instead if it didn't work out. Also, I also think it's unreasonable to not allow us to cancel our auctions if we do not like the current bids.

I know from my personal experience (you want our personal experience right?), that I have used alts and friends to buy my own auctions before they expire so I would only lose 10% instead of 20%. Additionally, I've also bought out my auctions when the bids are too low (I usually start off my starting bids at like 10CR) so that it would be on top if people short by bid price.

Now that I have presented the problem, here is my suggested solution:

Listing price should be 10% of the vendor price flat, not starting bid price and not buy out price. Smart people will find ways around the current system, like making the starting big extremely low or 10 times the listing price so that it does not cause any additional increase to the listing price.

Problem: the vendor price is

Problem: the vendor price is horribly inflated on gear. 2*s sell for 7500, for example. This is to encourage people to not use the vendors, but instead craft or trade for their gear. Also, Mats don't have a vendor sell price.

Also, I'll personally still use two day listings - when I'm certain that it'll sell in two days, I'm not sure it'll sell in one day, and I have the cash to do it. Seems reasonable to me.
