Some guilds tried to make rules that they liked and would allow them to compete more evenly. I guess that's just too tough to keep going. Or now that Twenty-One is dominating guild LD, maybe it would no longer work.

On a related note (?), it would be fun to have a guild match where everyone has too use the same lame weapon, like a Triglav, and you could only use it fully charged. Now that sounds like a fun game!

Oh, I tried this out for two games and I did manage to hit someone once for sure, maybe be twice - it's funny to smash someone into the ground with one freeze-blasting blow.

Sadly, that's not quite the case. It's two hits and I'm pretty sure invinciframes will make it impossible to hit with both.

^not if you're both charging.

During the charge (while you're still holding the button) and also during the uncancellable charge animation, you don't have invincibility frames. That's why Alchemer charge OHKOs silly brandish chargers, or why Blitz can take out bombers.

In RLD, I had some really fun moments doing Rigadoon vs Triglav charge (2-1) and also Trig vs Trig.
Obviously, you can set up fun little events like that in GvG, but RLD is a matter of luck and finding a room with fun people lol.

Even with ASI Maximum on a Triglav, it is actually possible to hit with both the swing and the aftershock as long as the person tries to move between the impact and the shockwave. I've caught strikers at full health coming out of their spawn with the charge and brought them down to like 5 pips apparently.

And on the topic of the OP, restricting everyone to using charges only on a single weapon is going to just promote everyone waiting for the first person to mess up.

No, I meant "person" as in the recipient of the mountain-sized gift. If you've noticed, people who abuse the hell out of AT will simply stand there after an attack and try and swing back, while those who don't will move/boost and be open to another swing a bit sooner. Either that or striker boost gives a huge illusion of the sort.

I meant you as a target can 'lessen' your invincibility frames by moving.

The hitstun (or is it latency blocking action?) from getting interrupted can stop people from countering hits, but I was wondering if it's specifically for attack inputs, and if moving affected anything.

Might just be an illusion, yeh.

I have heard of people landing double troika charge hits on non-charging/non-shocked people but haven't seen it myself :\

VLR was basically created to stop 6-striker skolver FF GF polaris spam, and since Dash was released that simply doesn't work anymore. It became unnecessary.

how about a 1 loadout game where everyone equips full skolver with GF FF and polaris with dual pentas. surely that would be new and exciting.
