I know this has been asked for already, but I'd like to ask for it again since it was not addressed in the latest patch. Can you PLEASE change the auction house timers to display hours and minutes? I can't bid on anything properly because I have no idea when the auction will end. Imagine if eBay told you that something was being sold in a medium amount of time!

Only change the longer times...
It would be best if they only changed the longer times. If one hour or less is remaining, it should say "very short" but if it's over that, then it should give you the time remaining.

There are plenty of auction systems that display an item's time left in hours and minutes (maybe rounded to the closest 15 minutes), and once it gets to about 5 minutes it will display "<5". I just hate it when an item I want ends in a "long" amount of time. Should I log in this evening? Tomorrow morning? I don't have time to continually log in and check...

It's not that hard
@kmarr if you think about it you can generally figure out when something is ending and still snipe it. You know that Very Short is less than 4 hours, short is about 4 hours Medium is 12, long is 24, and very long is 48. From there, you can guesstimate whereabouts an end time is. I do it all the time.

Hrmm.
I'm pretty sure - however frustrating I find the current timers - that the system that is in place is really well thought out. It stops bid-snipers a little, and the unknown length of "Very Short" means items can reach astronomical values in the last few minutes.
It's a great system, but I would still like a clearer range posted somewhere from an Admin, to confirm what we assume [Specifically, what Whargarbl just stated].

someone said have a timer to a certain point, or run it on full time and if someone bids in the last 5 or 10 mins add another 5 mins onto the timer to give time for someone else to bid. so the extra time only get added on within the 5 or 10 min below.

Change a very small part
i agree that the current system is genius but i would prefer to have it say within 4 hours, within 3 hours, within, 2 hours, within an hour, within 30 minutes, within 15 minutes(lowest time), ect
I think if they do so, there will be people who will be waiting to bid only in the last seconds, and each one will have time to make one or two bids, and that will decrease the selling price. The way it is now, people can only know it will end soon, and will bid, be outbided, bid again, just the way it has to be.
