In the vanaduke level, while you're fighting the mask, the level has a top-down camera style. Blast network doesn't have this, so its hard to see the bottom of the screen and you can easily get sniped because half the people camp on the bottom of the screen. It would be a simple change, wouldn't it?

my 2 cents

So much can be added to that gamemode... And yes the camera angle is awful, I litterally play to blind spot people from bad camera angle...

Blast Network need a rework. It's been untouched for so long (I still remember the hearts pickup that gave you pips of HP but you would still die 1 shot with a lvl 1 bomb...). I still remember all those Bomberman hours I played.... *sigh*

The angle of the camera isn't

The angle of the camera isn't what is causing you the blind spots and as such a disadvantage honestly; if you're in the middle of the map you can see the entire board as it is now. All that changing the angle the angle would do is accentuate those blind spots even more when you're at the bottom of the map while keeping them about the same at the top. You can test this out in the examples you've mentioned, the mask phase in FSC and the Bombie maze in LoA; if you're again at the bottom of the level you still can't see the top and vice versa (there however, it's not as big a deal in these situations as projectiles set off in a blind spot are slow moving and generally don't travel far enough to be a concern).

Your issue is more with the fact that the camera view follows you around instead of staying focused on the middle of the map which would then allow you to see the whole map. Currently, with enough practice, carefulness, and awareness of where other players are and their style of play, you can learn to survive situations where you wander too far towards the top of the map in BN, however I do understand how this adds more to a already pretty steep learning curve in BN. Even though it doesn't fit with the style of everything else in SK, if having a stationary camera encourages more players to come play, then +1, but honestly I don't think it will change the results too much. Most of the top BN players are able to take down their opponents with or without the use of the current blind spots.
