Estimating the population of Spiral Knights, I would say you make up less than .1%. So... why do we need a public announcement when someone leaves the game?

Two things

One) Some of us (don't mean to be rude) don't actually care...
Two) Never say permantly. Maybe you'll come back later? Well, I wish you well travels.

With the number of good bye Thread we see these days (from people we never heard from)

I can tell that it,s more than 0.1% of SK that is leaving... And he went on the forum to say he loved the game but don't like it anymore and enjoy others game. You see a pattern through these good-bye Threads...

Yes, it's another random good-bye Thread... but after 5 in the same week you SHOULD ask yourself question as the dev team... or keep on sipping that martini, your choice

Edit: Also leaving during promotions shouldn't happen at any point.

People leave the game every

People leave the game every day. People die every day.
People join the game every day. People are born every day.
It's the process.

Huh, Bitsbee hasn't commented yet

Happy travels?

You'll probably get more farewells from guildmates and friends than a forum that doesn't really recognize you. If this is what you need to do to seal the deal, then okay.

Game dies when population are not high enough to support servers often too...
Games are completed on regular basis and even beta/early access game exist to compete against games that are already there.

Yes people leave games and join. You can leave it at that or wonder WHY they leave and WHY they joiin and stay? or join and leave?

Or...

You can wonder why people die every die... or why they are born every die.

And invent better ways of protecting people (like cars? and pills?)... yes, some people are dedicated to it.

We know why people are born every day -_- that's not a myth... Take a biology class and you will learn why. Or seek the internet for it

You don't have to say it. Most people don't care about people leaving and you discourage new players.

Wait, you've been around since the beginning, and only -just- ran out of stuff to do? Talk about taking it slow.

And I thought I enjoyed game. *sad face*

I still don't get how threads like these discourage new players. I played since 2011 and I still have yet to make all 5 star equips to get past Hall of heroes.

I meant WHY we were born, not HOW. I know how...

Why were you born:

Cause your parent wanted a kid.

Why the human race was born? Again take a biology class, life came with micro-cellular and blablablabla evolution, blablabla, 50 different theory on how life came to be, blablabla, opinions, blablabla, religion dictate everything! evolution is a myth!

And here we are, 50 billions hundred thousands five millions 4 trillions ant year later on planet Earth. Human years are just Earth orbiting around the Sun one full rotation. It's not a base in any way shape or form for the universe, it's just our own time perspection of the world because of gravity and all those stuff in the universe.

It's really complex....

Can I have your stuff? Just had to say that since I see this a lot of quitting threads.

@Shamanalah your knowledge of our Solar System's age is appalling. It is around 5 billion years not "50 billions hundred thousands five millions 4 trillions ant year later" in our grasp of time, and our star, is halfway through its life. In one billion years time Earth will be inhospitable to life, however.

The "universe" is not even close to your described age, it is 12 billion years since whatever made it "happen" (don't say the big bang theory, although it is plausible, it is just a theory, a widely accepted one at that) , and we can't really say if that is young or old for a "universe", since our puny minds cannot grasp the actual concept of a "universe".
