I'd say about a week ago I could find alchemy orbs no problem. Recently, I've been on a very dry spell. It's been about a week without finding one. I'm going at the same pace and I'm doing the same areas. I find sparks of life at a decent rate but still no orbs of alchemy. It seems as if the drop rate changed, but I looked in on the price of the orbs and they are about the same. I'd assume the price would raise if they were more rare or something.

I'm just really confused and bored lately. I thought maybe it was some strange bug and I've tried different areas and I even switched up my equipment thinking that had something to do with it somehow.

I found 3 Orbs in a single run today while heating up my random gear. Whenever I purposely search for orbs, I always find that I don't find any. Coincidence? Maybe.

Sounds like you're just having bad luck. And if it takes you that long to find them, there's always the Supply Depot. It's all a matter of what luck wants to happen first, you being able to find the orbs, or you being able to afford to purchase the orbs.

It's all RNG. I found 3 Orbs and 6 Sparks of Life in one run a couple days ago, whereas I haven't found an Orb since and only two Sparks thus far.

That's just bad luck. Keep looking, or as Whimsicality said you can just buy them from the Supply Depot. You should have some spare Crowns with all that farming that they require. (Tip: Never buy them from the Auction House).

I'll keep grinding away. It was just nice to find them every once in a while to spice things up.

I have yet to find my February orb and spark.

Seems like I can only get a single orb and one spark every month. That is except for the rare occasion when I find 3 orbs in one box. But this seems to only happen when ever a solar eclipse happens at the same time as a lunar eclipse during a leap year on a Friday the 13th. Not likely.

If you have luck as bad as mine, just look for everything in the supply depot. A bit of energy isn't worth the 300 hours of your life you could have spent using what ever you crafted with the orbs.

Here's my question though: has anyone else been having a harder time finding vitakits lately? I've gone through multiple missions and clockworks levels and they don't usually drop. On any difficulty.

I'm still getting 4+ Sparks and a couple orbs a day

Though, I rarely run anything besides the Arcade... *cough*

Not for me, I generally get them from Health Blocks right away.
