They finally fixed the Hearthstone pendant! I'm so happy, I could cry. This is probably the best news I've received all day. :')
Thanks Three Rings, you're the best. <3

It was miscategorized as a 3star trinket that you could get from Brinks for 5 Primal Sparks, and sell back to a vendor for 1200 crowns. It was supposed to only be 2star and sell back to the vendors for 250. But it's properly categorized and I'm happy. It only took them close to 2 months to fix it, but by golly it's fixed. And I'm a happy camper for it.
I figured there was some thing like a status increase to make you so happy, ah well, I had occasionally made profit from that :(
Just wondering why this makes you happy? Why does it bother you if someone buys it and sells it to the vendor? It seems like this should be a non-issue for you.
Personally, i've been saving my primals for trinkets, so it doesn't effect me. And being that it doesn't effect me, i'm not happy at other peoples loss.
It was something that wasn't working as intended, therefore people were exploiting something to earn easy crown.
That's the issue.
Would you stop at the stop-signs? Would you be mad if i didn't?
Makes me so very glad I sold off the few I had before work today(and the bugfix). :p

Don't bother wasting time on this jeburk. They left that there intentionally this entire time. They took it out when they felt more people didn't need this as much (or decided they no longer wanted easy money for players). I got about maybe twice as much from that as I did depositing minerals at the old prices consistently. Both have went down with this update.
But no hate, I was here to enjoy this, and enjoy it I did. No bans were ever given for that unlike things related to love puppies so I have absolutely no regrets :D
That's a terrible comparison, jeburk. And because I'm a law-abiding citizen, yes, actually. I would stop at stop signs in an "abandoned" town and I would be furious that you weren't, if I saw it.
@Loki : Thanks, that's like, exactly my thoughts.
@NegimaSonic : I stopped doing it the moment I realized it was actually too good to be true. It felt immoral to me to be exploiting the game for more in game money, that could then be used to purchase CE that someone else had to shell out real money for, especially considering the "rarity" of primals. I just hope a lot of people missed the part in this update where it got fixed, and pour all their primals into hearthstone pendants only to find out that they're only worth 250 now.
I think the real reason they left it in there so long was because it wasn't necessarily game breaking. It was an oversight on their part, but they had a million and one other things going on (making the auction house, making new content, making new gear, and fixing all the new stuff) that were significantly more important. And now that crafting is more expensive, I'm glad that they took out a way to get easy crowns.
And I had a really crappy day yesterday irl, so you have NO IDEA how ecstatic I was to see that this exploit has been rectified.
FFFFFFFFFFFFFUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU-
I heard of this but wasn't aware it was a bug. Never used it cause I never needed it.
lol you do realize any CE purchases were because those people needed crowns..they didn't need CE, they needed some random free players crowns. So I'm sure they went like...
"I'm selling my energy for 4900...but no one better buy it if they haven't been in the clockworks for an hour exclusively to buy it!!" (and actually they have been there for that long since its impossible to gain tokens outside of the clockworks anyway, that's just an extra). Actually if anything, you would've had to worry about paying players NOT selling their energy because they could've used this to make up for some crown differences. If you needed that recipe and you were just 1000 short, it would've been stupid to have to sell your energy that you paid for with real money to make up for it and you could just sell a trinket.
And of course, the timing of this I still say is suspect, not one but two crown generators were reduced with that patch (stop ignoring minerals, I made a lot off of that D:). But hey, I made my money off of that so sucks for the new players :D :D :D
