Hello fellow knights, today I want to ask you a small question. There are plenty of different kinds of Fanfictions you can make, from stories completely made by you, to fics with characters made by other forumers.

Another one is Interactive stories. Although there have been quite a few over the years/months, Psychnade's appears to be the most active at the moment.

If you were around back then and remember me as Atgatg, you know that I dabbled in fanfictions. I wasn't altogether good at it, but I tried. In fact, I'm hoping to start one again soon. My question is, what do you like better? Application based stories; stories where characters are submitted by readers. Or interactive stories... Stories where readers vote to keep the plot moving.

Hello

Well, among the different types of fan-fictions. I'm writing a story in which Ive planned out most of the plot, but I like Application based stories better. I'm just starting out with something easier to start out with. Application stories allow me to feel like I'm contributing to the story more than just criticism and comments.

Hmph.

Psychnade has done both, but perhaps you can take it to the next level and instead of fitting characters into slots, you could build the story as you go along, with the audience's votes as a rough guideline.
