Looks more like a cute attempt to recreate a bug that's long ago been fixed by organizing a rigged match in which one person from each side has standard 5* gear while everyone else is wearing 3* or 2* gear. Biggest red flag I found is how little damage the person recording is taking from a Shockburst hit with their 0* armor and helm.

As I mentioned earlier, there used to be a way to get Tier 3 gear into Tier 2. Several ways in fact. One way was to hit the double sword icon next to the loadouts to swap it from PVE to PVP in the middle of the match. This was quickly hotfixed by OOO when there were reports of Sealed Swords in Tier 1 matches. The other way was to enter a Tier 3 match wearing a Tier 2 Loadout, and having a Tier 3 Loadout marked PVP. You would then equip the Tier 3 Loadout, delete the loadout you just equipped, and wait out the rest of the match until you are brought to the end of match stats screen. You'll notice in the main menu, despite you wearing 5* gear, says you are Tier 2. Queue up, and you're rofl-stomping the hammers and toothpicks with a Great Footlong and Swagger Storm.

Of course, now that these bugs have been fixed and are no longer replicable, as such can no longer be abused, I feel it's interesting knowledge to share for those who really want to know.
