So with two max freezes, the skolver should be immune to shiver.

Assuming one is able to get two shock maxes, that skolver would still lack one or two points for shock, wouldn't it?
My guess is if the above is true, then the user would need a shock pendant.

If it's not true, is there a way for just to get shock and freeze immunity on a skolver set (without trinks)?
(Skolver specifically for max dmg on striker + immunity)

You seem to be way off here. Let's take it from the top!
Resistance is measured in units simply called resistance or blah resistance (e.g. 5 shock resistance). The base unit is equal to a Low UV.
Low = 1
Medium = 2
High = 3
Max = 4
Most 5* armours that provide resistance provide four units, the equivalent of a Max UV. Skolver is one of these armours. Do note that Snarbolax items provide 3 freeze and poison resistance; not 2, not 4.
Something else you should note is that being a Guardian in LD gives you 2 units of resistance against every status. It's really neat!
Lastly, you probably should know what gives one immunity to statuses.
7 units of resistance are required for minor immunity, which is what haze bombs do.
9 units are required for moderate immunity. Notable weapons that cause moderate statuses are Alchemers and Polaris.
You can't be immune against strong statuses so you'll have to live with those.

So Max UV + Max Armor = 2

So Max UV + Max Armor = 2 times the same value?
I was just looking at this so http://i.imgur.com/WyN4C0P.png

So, is it possible to have both shock and freeze mist immunity in PvP for a skolver set? I'm not still exactly sure how the reg and UV resistances work together.

As I said, a Max UV equals four units and most 5* sets are equivalent to a Max UV so yes.

That chart is wrong, though. Max+high is enough for immunity.

You can even go as far to

You can even go as far to have shock, freeze, and stun, and poison haze immunity. Though it still wont save you from the ultimate power that lies ib the AT hammercheron.

It is correct for Guardian however. You only need Max + Low resistance to be immune to haze-style bombs if you play as a guardian.

Not that anyone actually plays guardian anymore..besides bombers.

.

max + high = immune as striker

skolver set is immune against shiver out of the box .. you would need shock max + shock high uv to be immune against vt

high + high or max + low = immune as guardian

case in point about my previous post is ^

if you only need +7 resistance in any status to be able to walk through its respective bomb, and max + high gives you that resistance, then let us math

high + med = immunity to status bombs as a guardian, since guardian mod has inherent +2 and high + high is 6, while high + med is 5; we've already established that +7 is all you need because krackerjack has the same propensity towards numbers as i do in terms of various armor properties

ergo, high + med is the minimum you would need as a guardian

yes i'm nitpicking
