The costume shop is the costume shop. The shop specializes in purely decorative gear so your character stands out. As for the SEGA gear, who wouldn't want to look like Shadow?

A costume shop sounds pretty

A costume shop sounds pretty cool. It could also feature the color change option so many knights have been asking for. I'm unsure about sega character costumes because it could interfere with the game's current aesthetic, but I'm sure BlackHat could give us some cool costuming options at reasonable CE prices.

Haha.

"Who wouldn't want to look like Shadow?"

Anybody over the age of 12? Lol.

But seriously, a costume shop would be nice. Poor Ian would be up for weeks making the skins, though.

I'm totally against

I'm totally against this.

this is NOT MAPLE STORY

I'd be fine with an item to change your base color though.

Costume shop, yes.

I agree with having a costume shop, though I think it should be for crowns (hopefully not too expensive) to make it more accessible to the non-paying players. SEGA character costumes, though, don't seem to really fit the Spiral Knights theme. Unless you mean armor more inspired a bit by SEGA characters, and not actually so you look just like them. Then it's still iffy.

Two things

Moonsoon start considering how others think, not just you. Another thing, the SEGA character stuff wouldn't make you look exactly like the character, just look something like the character. So the SEGA costumes still keep the whole Spiral Knights feel but and in something previously not in the game(not including the Rose Regalia sets).

crafting costume armor

It would be kinda cool if you could craft "costume" armor for cheap.

Say someone is equipped to the standard Vog armor set, but wanted to craft a virulisk set to wear as a costume. So you could craft the viralisk set at a fraction of the crowns and CE but it'd have no defensive stats. purely costume armor.

Inevitable Result

I am all for more personalization and customization of your characters appearance, although I think SEGA character looks could get a little overplayed. The problem here is that even if OOO released more costume pieces (which they will eventually based on the Regalia event) they will charge real money for them or they will cost high amounts of CE which is pretty much the same thing. In many games I have had experience with, the developers always charge real money for clothing, accessories, etc because a lot of people want them. There is high demand so there is high profit to be made.
