ABOUT KNIGHT RAIN:
We were founded by Hollows on the bases of having fun and creating a community in Spiral Knights for all to enjoy. Our focus covers everything Spiral Knights related, so long as it creates a positive atmosphere for us and those around us. We welcome all calibers here at Knight Rain… fresh from the Rescue Camp or Darkfire Vanaduke slayers. We welcome all varieties of interests as well… from accessory hoarders to die hard Lockdown players. Our goal is to take in all kinds and create a future.

HISTORY:
Knight Rain was made with the hopes to continue the legacy of Elegance. With that torch passed on to us, we strive to further the goals and expectations that Elegance once had. Elegance will live on with us and in the hearts of former Elegance members.

GENERAL GUIDELINES:
We exist on the hearts of those who want be in a positive and uplifting community in our Spiral Knights world, so negativity towards what we do and love isn’t something we will be able to tolerate. Activity is something we consider since we don’t want our guild spots filled up by those who haven’t logged in for a fair while. We require a love of Spiral Knights, and immature disrespect towards the Developers or Game Masters will be a disqualification of the right to be in Knight Rain.

(Please note that experience and game knowledge can be a factor also.)
Recruits: “You have crashed. You are stranded. But you are not alone.” Congratulations, you have recently been welcomed into Knight Rain! You have fellow members to encourage and help you with whatever journey you choose for yourself on Cradle.
Members: You have joined your fellow knights in Haven, and not only do you take part in your own ventures, but those of your guild mates. Now you have the expectations of showing an active interest in the guild’s welfare.
Veterans: You have shown you can take a lead on showing the way for others. You are considered as a strong member of Knight Rain that is vigilant and highly regarded in what we do and love. Now you have the expectations of taking part in activities.
Officers: Welcome to your Officer position. Your instructions can be found elsewhere.
Guild Master: What’s this? You've ascended to the highest level? Fantastic!

1. When did you first start playing Spiral Knights?

Once upon a time their was this girl from Canada who loved me, and she was like Mr. Njthug will you play Spiral Knights with me? I said "Oh yes my dear I will!". I made friends with her friends and they decided to make me skip the tutorial this was so far back I think it was in 2010 or 2011 around December, so pretty much when you were still in High School playing other games!

2. How active are you now?

I can be as active as you want me to be! You want me to play with you while you are under the covers, or just relaxing on your computer chair? I can satisfy your guilds requirements with activity.

3. How active were you in the past?

The past is in the past who cares about the past lets focus on the future we can have together! Swallows + Njthug Future <69 Together we can make a guild which won't die out <69.

4. What rank are you?

I can be any rank you want me to be I can be your Vanguard, your love puppy, or even your very own Impostocube if that doesn't make you happy you can call me Mr. Flinstone since well you know why <69.

5. What do you like about Spiral Knights the most?

I like the fact that anyone can lead a guild regardless if they are crazy, lovely, or just plain silly!

6. Tell us about past guild experiences. Include details such as how long you were there and why you left.

So I have to admit we have a bit in common with your guild mates, since all of us get around <69

Active --- Hollafarmer he didnt know who I was so he kicked me =(

Unity --- Cootie bullied me since I kept telling her the female players don't like it when she touches them

Echo of Silence --- this guild is dead no one is ever online its just a bunch of alts!

Twenty One --- I didnt like the fact this guild name was a #, but they all failed at math.

Njthug --- I got kicked from this guild true story!

Filthy --- I was in this guild since I can be very filthy! I left this guild since it turned out they are more filthy than me!

Knightmare --- Christina had a crush on me so it was turning into a love triangle Christina, Emily, and myself I felt uncomfortable so I left.

Guild -- Magnus was sad I killed Vana before him he was like oh I hate you...I was all like you drama llama and left!

Jempire --- Got kicked since I can out rev Ruby

One Knight Stand --- I wanted more than an Oks with my lover Saphy! So I just put a ring on her <69

Hippie Drum Circle --- Bunk kept taking all my food because he is fat! I left over this my wife Miso was going hungry!

Resistance --- I loved this guild a lot it was a lot of fun, but Lemon-Neko kept putting cookies on my face while I sleep made my bed all dirty covered with cookie crumbs so I just was like F this and left them!

Elegance --- I was here for a bit then the guild just well died out.

7. What makes you individual from other players in Spiral Knights?

My Milkshake brings all the boys to the yard!

8. What’s the most important part of your Spiral Knights experience?

Having the opportunity to meet someone who adores me as much as Swallows!

1. When did you first start playing Spiral Knights?
I believe I first started on August 8th of 2012

2. How active are you now?

Depends on your definition of active. I am on daily, however my schedule is completely random. You can usually count on me to show up at events.

3. How active were you in the past?

In the past, I went on and off. I'd stay for a few months, then leave for a few months. At this moment however,me am determined to stay with Spiral Knights for a long time.

4. What rank are you?

Vanguard. Hopefully.

5. What do you like about Spiral Knights the most?

What's not to like? The charming graphics, the 'fun' community. I'm addicted to it all.

6. Tell us about past guild experiences. Include details such as how long you were there and why you left.

I've been with quite a few guilds, and usually I leave them due to inactivity. I usually stay until I decide whether to not this is a guild I want to be with.

7. What makes you individual from other players in Spiral Knights?

I can be serious when needed, but I love to joke around. I feel that my need to be around others gives me certain qualities that would deem me 'individual.'

8. What’s the most important part of your Spiral Knights experience?

Meeting new friends that I can comfortably talk and play with. Don't think about that sentence too much.

9. Why do you want to be a part of Knight Rain?

It sounds like a promising new guild. I have met Hollows before and I feel like a guild under her leadership won't be messing around. I want to be a part of this.

10. Tell us a bit about yourself.

I am a student living in rural Wisconsin (USA) with a decent internet connection. I spend my a good chunk of my time (probably an amount that is not healthy) on Spiral Knights. I can be mature, however I do not always choose to be so.

You can take what I say on this application to be one-hundred percent accurate, but keep in mind that you never truly know someone until you've met them.

1. When did you first start playing Spiral Knights?

I started playing on this account back when Spiral knights first came to Steam, i switched over from my old account not realizing i could have taken my account with me back then. Ever since i have been Vanillateddy~!

2. How active are you now?

I try to be as active as possible but i have plenty of things to do outside of Cradle, i have work, life and some of those Wii and Xbox games.

3. How active were you in the past?

I was insanely active, i had no life no job and well i had Xbox but man after a while it got dusty.. i was on all the time as long as i wasn't at school.

4. What rank are you?

Hmm something about you know Vangaurd or something is that what it is?

5. What do you like about Spiral Knights the most?

The art style, i love games that show off good art, i love the models characters how far left to right we can see and all those other things i think this is my favorite RPG ever.

Well to start off i owned two guilds one of which survived about 6 months or so very well i must say as well, Divine Gods it was called. Other then that i also recently tried out guild leadership again and figured it wasn't for me, i can do plenty on the inside but running the system isn't for me. Other then that i had been in the most curious of guilds some like ITJ which i spent most of my life in, i call it my home if i feel like some good ol' times. I was in Elegance and i must say the people i met and played with were some of the best friends i made, sure i may seem annoying or whatever sometimes even obnoxious but meh idc its who i am.

7. What makes you individual from other players in Spiral Knights?

I have my own sorts of goals and they are forever changing, i like to play around i like to collect i like to do things that can even piss people off all the time. I like using odd weapons expecially in LD just cuz people kinda dont like it when i do and i just love doing things like that. My pal is the Triglav.

8. What’s the most important part of your Spiral Knights experience?

Friends, nuff said they are my enjoyment.

I warmly welcome everyone who has joined us to this point. Right now we are just little dew drops, but there's many plans to unite us internally so that we can reach out to the Spiral Community and do some good for each and every knight. I've got some amazing responses so far, and I really believe that there are great players out there who can make a difference.

@Njthug: "I want to make it RAIN!" That's our goal here as well, in a symbolic way. I appreciate all the good you do for the Spiral Community with the contests you have hosted now and in the past. I hope you keep doing this for the good of Spiral Knights.

I've never been in a guild with you before (except that once when it was on impulse) but I've known you for quite some time. I have my share of experience with guilds (which is why I've hopped around before, sometimes choosing specific guilds to learn from) and I've got a pretty darn good idea of what needs to be done. @Mawashimono: Yeah, I've made a wiki for us although I'll admit I've been so busy in game with the guild that I've forgotten to add content! Also, as far as a website goes, we're trying to utilize Steam Groups for that. It has forums there that can be changed so that the public can't see what exciting stuff we are doing within. Steam Groups are already set up and a lot of people already are on Steam, so I find that the Steam Group is a convenient way to have a website. If people don't have Steam, then they can sign up for it (just for the purpose Group if they wish) just like they could sign up for any other website. There's only two downsides I've found about Steam Groups. One is that you can't post pictures, and the other is that the Forums on there are a tad bit confusing to use because the Subforums may be hard to find if you aren't accustomed to Steam Discussions.

8. What’s the most important part of your Spiral Knights experience?: The most important part of my experience is not having my computer muted because I like the music and not having any stressful thing in real life over my shoulder.

3) On every day from 4-9PM GMT. Possibly longer on the weekends.

6) The customisation and combat. Any game where you can dress nice and blow things up is great for me.
7) In all honesty, nothing really.
8) I'm overly generous and donate even if I'm broke myself.

10) My internet is terrible and I'm constantly listening to music, so I lose attention pretty easily.

3. How active are you now? Still very active.

The Halcyon's Odyssey, I left because a couple players, [not naming] we're being complete jerks. The Cursed Wanderers, left because the guild founder destroyed other guilds, and I didn't want too be a part of that. Obliveration, left because the guild founder had favorites and wanted certain players. Last, but not least! The Nights Watch, I left because my most favorite players and part of the guild merged with Echo Of Silence.
6. What do you like about Spiral Knights the most? Chatting it up with friends, then doing mission afterwards!
7. What makes you individual from other players in Spiral Knights? I like too solo most missions, including Shadow Lairs, I put my utmost effort into the guild, and try to make it excellent.
8. What’s the most important part of your Spiral Knights experience? Communication, especially on a mic. You don't want too be the screw-up in an all mic party, and evading the party leaders instructions.
9. Why do you want to be a part of Knight Rain? I have some friends in the guild, and it was recommended too me, and I've heard, yes I've heard it has an active and friendly community, and I would love too be apart of that.

1. When did you first start playing Spiral Knights?

I started playing back in early 2013 before the update that removed elevator energy fees. I left for a few months in late 2013, and then came back just a few days ago and made my current knight, Devil Ray.

2. How active have you been in the past?

On a scale of 1-10, about 4.

3. How active are you now?

Scale of 1-10, 8; 9 or 10 on the weekends. I'm very devoted nowadays.

4. What rank are you?

3-1 Squire. I've spent much more time in the Arcade farming for Crowns than doing missions since my return.

5. Tell us about past guild experiences. Include details such as how long you were there and why you left.

Sorry, I haven't been in one before.

6. What do you like about Spiral Knights the most?

Exploring the Clockworks to my heart's content, and the feeling of empowerment when I get new equipment. Not to mention the fact that it's - for the most part - completely free-to-play.

7. What makes you individual from other players in Spiral Knights?

Other than having a Metal Sonic Suit that I didn't spend a bazillion Crowns on, nothing in particular.

8. What’s the most important part of your Spiral Knights experience?

Friends. Without any, I think that the game would be impossible for me.

9. Why do you want to be a part of Knight Rain?

I've heard great things about it, and I'd like to be active and make my mark in the community.

I am a devoted gamer across several platforms, from Wii U to PS3, PC, and more, I enjoy many games of different kinds. My past experiences with MMO's haven't varied that much; I religiously played Disney's Toontown Online until it shut down late last year. I also tried out Wizard101 and Pirate101 some time ago, but they really didn't do much for me. On Spiral Knights, for the most part, I'm pretty quiet when it comes to Type Chat, and I'm unable to use voice chat until I can buy a Splitter for my one audio jack. I like making new friends and interacting with other knights very much. Since I spend a lot of time in the Haven Arcade, that's where I meet most of my friends. I play Spiral Knights with a "Fighter" approach; I've never mastered stealth in games, so I usually use brute strength, which shows in my knight and battle sprite, a Swordsman and a Drakon, respectively.

It's sort of been an on and off roller coaster.

I try to play as often as I can since I haven't been able to get all the weapons I want and do all the things in Spiral Knights that I want.

Uh, well it's been so scattered out that I can't remember much about the guilds I've been in, but I was in your other guild, Elegance.

6. What do you like about Spiral Knights the most?
It's a unique little game that's sci-fi like but not too far out there.

7. What makes you individual from other players in Spiral Knights?
Well, I like to use bombs, but then again so do other people. I like to try to find a good way to use them in lockdown though, something other than voltaic spam.

Well I was part of Elegance. Though my time was short there before things ended, I think I can probably contribute to the well being and community of the guild. So I guess I want to help with the community and Knight Rain seems like an inspiring guild.

Just call me Dewy for short. I write some fan fics from time to time, but I haven't written anything about Spiral Knights yet. Just need some inspiration and motivation.
