The prize promo goes away on the 9th, but the announcement didn't say when the Tortodrone mission would.
Are they going to stick around? Cause I'd need quite a bit of time to get a shield out of this thing.

I'd like to know this as well. Random spawns anywhere would be a nice change up from time to time.
Like how the halloween event was.

The mission is only here through the 9th, but the Strangers say the Long Migration happens from time to time, so it is likely we'll see the lumbering giants again in the future.

Not to sound selfish but summer vacation time *cough early july cough* is such an awesome time for Tortodone migration I hear. Along with Kat and Apocrea migration also :)
I missed all past events and can't find enough time to play this one :( but I'll be super free all year round every year after june :)
Most likely it will end on the 9th. But we all know events come back. Fingers crossed it's after June.
