They don't always drop in groups of 4. Yesterday, I got a group of 2 from a Gorgo, and a group of 3 from a Devilite. Maybe the RNG just hates me or something; my friends got a bunch of Tor and Sol, but I didn't get a single Tor, and though I got too many Amu and Nok, they didn't get any. Huh.

They drop in groups of 4 on Tier 3 Elite, and in groups of 3 on Tier 1 Elite.
They drop these mats. Obviously you need 5 of each material. They don't drop these mats often, I have tough luck with them myself, but when they do drops, they're in groups of 4. I've personally made a small group where we work together to get the mats and make an ID card to fight the tortodrones, we got 4 runs in today. We just split the jobs, 2 people work on getting mats, while the other 2 work on money to buy Advanced Orbs from Kozma.
