As everybody knows lockdown needs a new ranking system. The current system favors players that play 24 /7 and does not base players on a win loss ratio among players of according to their ranks. I propose a new rank system which gives players and guilds a permaneant rank which changes according to the outcomes of the games played among similar ranks. For example if I lost to a player of a lower rank I would lose a lot of points, and if I beat a lower rank player I would gain a few points, likewise if I played a higher rank player and lost I would lose a few points and if I beat them I would gain a lot of points. If I beat multiple high ranked players I would be adjusted to their rank. There would be bonuses for playing more games and points lost for inacticity over long periods of time as well. And at the end of the month awards will be given to the too ranked players and guilds.

I crap all over your suggestion unless you can tell us more specifically how they would implement what was intended for MOBA and deathmatch scenarios.
since in most traditional pvp, there is a loss of points while there's only a gain thats calculated in LD.
Since many of you are only good at LD because of your circumstances whether it be connection AND/OR gear advantages (WoW and games alike excluded because they are extremely complex relative to the simplicity of LD) they will never implement a revised ranking system as most PVP based games where there is an individual rank also usually has players on as much EQUAL playing ground as possible ie neither player has a significant gear advantage, region controlled. And not many are 'pay-to-win' or have a system where you can pay money for energy and buy the stuff you need to play optimally or advance straight to end-game. Must also mention the fact that LD plays like a real time FPS and the fact that it does have an auto target is quite ludicrous and comparable to a semi-functional aimbot. LD is played regularly by less than 0.5% of the games pop too so devoting resources to make LD more enjoyable for a couple of whackos is pretty pointless.
you should stop trying to make LD competitive as its pretty obvious it was meant to be played for fun.
Some Aequitas guy put it really well in another post: "if you want real competitive skill based gameplay then play some other game, play counterstrike or starcraft etc."
The problem with this system would be that unless you're Rambo and can carry in any game, your rank will mostly be determined by chance.
The suggestion has been made before, in a more well formatted- and thought out way.
When OOO decides to care about LD as much as they should, we'll have a ranking system.
