Hey, I just reached the tier 2 clockworks terminal and I was wondering a few things:
Firstly, what happens if I logg off while I am in the clockwork terminal? When I logg back on, will I still be there? I never actually tried X_X
Secondly, which of the following recipes should I buy?
Elemental cloak
Flamberge
Fused demo
Kamarin
Surge breaker
Super blast bomb
Super Blast Bomb is available from Kozma in Haven. Don't need to buy it from Basil.
Kamarin: Doesn't have a 5* upgrade path. (Slow, 2-swing sword with knockback.) Up to you.
Surge Breaker: Doesn't even reach 4*. Can't unlock Tier 3 with this. Vulnerability to two status effects. Not recommended.
Flamberge: I recommend it, especially if you already use a Flourish-- but your other weapon slot(s) will have to be carefully chosen to complement it, as it can't really hurt Slimes or Constructs.
Elemental Cloak: Great defenses (Normal/Elemental). You will look like a wizard. (A confused wizard, if you don't have the matching hood.)
Fused Demo: Great defenses. Bonus to bombs. If you like to use bombs, you can take this. Otherwise, Elemental might be better.
1. If you log off while in a terminal, you will be back in Haven when you log in, just like you were anywhere else in the Clockworks. So you can't run down to a certain depth, log off, then log back on after your energy has regenerated and continue - all runs have to start from Haven.
2. Which you should buy depends on what you already have, and what your play style is. First time I reached T2 Basil, I went with the Elemental Cloak, since it provides decent Normal/Elemental defense (in T2, you pretty much need both, and maybe some Shadow defense as well, since every mob does a mix of Normal/Elemental or Normal/Shadow damage). But of course if you're a Bomber type that tries to never get close to an enemy, you'd probably choose differently...
