FSC... is pain. I honestly can't even begin to try to grind it for tokens it's so obnoxious. I'm one of those people that run the clockworks, always the clockworks, and only the clockworks. If I want to fight a boss, I'll do all the preceding Strata in that tier, or just start from D0 if I'm feeling truly bored.
But on the subject of the Tortos, I think it would be interesting to see them show up in the clockworks again. I don't have any opinion regarding whether or not that is what Aphrodite meant in her post, but I guess it could be possible. But the spark loss....
Would they still drop the Turtle Shield (cant think of the name right now for the life of me)? Or do you think that maybe they could drop an Ancient shell (Rarely) or even one of the 3* Torto shields (SUPER Rarely)? I think that would be cool. But that's just me, #derpworthyideas
I definitively wouldn't mind the reinstallment of Tortodrones. I never did get a chance to fight them, and only seen so little videos, but they look like a mighty fun addition.

No, I just don't have any guns, and as thus I can't really fight the Tortodrones alone. Wait. Do Spitfires, Frost Guns, Pummel Guns, Zappers, Super Stun Guns, and Wrench Wands count as good guns?
They're average at best. Pummel is slightly above average even in it's own tier.
This is going off the corrupted tortos actions, but with just swords, I'd imagine that you can dance around him with your dash while sneaking hits in. It just requires patience, good thing I have guns.
@ Poomph I solo the tortodrones. Except I use a supernova & valiance 2-2 shot method. (2 with supernova, 2 with valiance.)
With msi med and kiting, you can pretty much just laugh at people who've said the fight is cheap and those who mocked supernova saying it was useless.
Still waiting for the fight that makes DVS and Neutralizer really good. Then I'll show them all.
Actually, neutralizer is quite useful on the tortodrone fight if done correctly- get someone with deadly shadow cloak to detonate it and you'll deal a ton of damage.
