How to Counter ASI VH+ Toothpick Bumblebees?

I'm a heavy weapon user (two-swing) and when an opponent striker tries to "bumblebee" poke me, I managed to counter multi-pokes, but usually they don't have that high of an ASI. (By bumblebee, I mean, using the circle/U method).

However, I always get stunlocked with those with considerably high ASI.

I've thought of two possible solutions:
1) Get an ASI UV/trink/gear
2) Use a lighter/faster weapon

Since the first option will take me a while, I was wondering if there was a way to counter stunlocking bumblebees temporarily.
Assuming they were using a ASI VH toothpick, I don't think using another heavy weapon is a good idea.
1) Use a toothpick against them
2) Use winmillion (speed + projectile)
3) Use striker
(I'm limiting myself to swords)

Which of these three swords is the most ideal way? If you have any other suggestions besides getting ASI (which I'm working towards)

And yes, I'm aware getting high ASI doesn't necessarily make you better.

Even with ASI VH, when such a player misses you have an immediate opening to make them pay :P Don't give that chance away

I know about double swinging.

I know about double swinging. What I mean is as soon as they land their first hit, I can't make a swing at all.

Run.If you predict they'll

Run.

If you predict they'll circle around then slash, you can run in the opposite direction of their circle. That gives them these choices:
a) Swing at your previous location (miss/reset situation)
b) Try to dash to the side of the tile in front of you and slash
c) Switch to gun.

If they go with A, then the situation reset and both of you are at a 'neutral' situation (either of you can approach)
If they go with B, you have a chance of predicting their chase and getting a hit in by switching directions and counterattacking (you kite/bait/counter)
If they go with C, it's a bit of a situation reset, depending on whether or not they're good/dangerous with a gun. But if they go with a gun, it's not a toothpick, so it's a 'win' for you. Can possibly turn into a B situation.

Of course, the counter to this is for them to predict which direction you'll run. If you don't gain distance and force them to break rhythm by moving, then the situation's no better for you.

*I wrote this assuming you were playing guardian/recon - striker can definitely open up enough of a gap to do a short-ranged 'reset'.

In any situation where you can get enough distance to allow you to start a slash before they reach you, you can turn that into a counter attack.
