OOO's been changing things.
They added mysterious rooms and bonus mysterious rooms into the clockworks. source for name

Has anyone checked out the fiend arena in the Jade King Gate (D17)?
It has changed and gives fiendish glyphs. Misery blocks (the spiked blocks) line the edge and the spawn points for monsters shifted.

Is this suggesting that we have to find out how the arcade is changing since they aren't going to post it.
Even the mysterious rooms and bonus mysterious rooms weren't noted until mentioned in a bugfix.

That special arena only shows up some of the time. I got invited to one that had the fiendish setup but then I went there myself and it was just the regular arena.

It's all part of the current event.

The mysterious rooms are those scenario rooms you find in infernal passages that can give you some extra glyphs, and going by how the arena directly grants glyphs it's safe to say it's a part of the event too.

The bonus mysterious room (looks similar to a regular danger room but with some differences) cost energy but reward more glyphs. Regular mysterious rooms are free and offer less glyphs as a reward.

That's not true, the mysterious rooms behind energy gates can often give the same rewards as the ones without energy gates. Just because you come across a energy gate doesn't mean you've found a room that rewards 15+ glyphs depending on the tier of the room.

It seems like you get now get Status Resist UVs on Shields again.

Oh.

I didn't know that. I thought they got rid of the possibility of getting Resist UVs from Crafting, too. My mistake.
